I purchased Pure Raw 6 and am presently trialing Photo Lab 10. Both excellent products for what they do and best of all NO subscription fees!

This alone has moderated the very LOW score I would give for delivery of new updates. It would seem that the competent people who program the functionality in the actual applications are the polar opposite to the people who manage the delivery of updates.

Want to upgrade your application? You better have a saved copy of the previous version that works because there is an excellent chance that the new version will have some BS drama including crashing.

To make it worse, DxO does not keep previous versions available so you can roll back. So you are left with frustration and have to open a ticket which may end up with a fix for your issue (which could be widespread) within a week if you’re lucky.

If it was not for the excellence of the software *when it works* their products would not be on my computer. Their attitude towards keeping previous stable versions sucks.

Technical issues solved immediately

Been using the Nik Collection since it was made by Nik. Never regretted it. Quality is No.1 and a whole bunch of modules to choose from and/or combine on layers.

For the images I have tried this program with, I have not found it to be any better than other denoise programs. Also it is supposed to be accessible from within photoshop via the plugins panel but it isn't.

My problem with 6.5 was fixed the next day with a software update

There was a glitch with an update some days ago but the team at DxO have sorted that, hence four stars. It does what it sets out to do very well, and since the latest update (after the one which broke PureRaw) it's seems to be moving a lot faster.

DXO Pure RAW6.5.1 has helped to deliver punchy images from unpromising surroundings. Fast action of badminton in a poorly lit sports hall is brought to life with the actions of colour balance, smoothing of grain and sharpening of image.
This has been a game-changer for me and my images.

Software is ok, noise reduction is excellent. Takes much longer to edit images than Lightroom. If you are buying it to save money that is not the case for me. Today is Sept 3rd 2026. I spent $239 at the end of March 2026, yesterday they came out with version 10 and they want me to pay an additional $130 to upgrade!!!!! I will just stick with Adobe, at least I know what to expect from them. Other than noise reduction DXO leaves much to desire.

Noise reduction is the best in the market. Details it recovers and improves are fantastic.

Been using it for about two months. Really superb noise cleanup, almost out of this world, no exaggeration. Only gripe was that the masks were not that accurate, but with the arrival of DXO 10, that seems to be resolved (have not upgraded yet). And I really appreciated that they issued a bugfix for an issue I experienced within weeks of me reporting it. So yes, I have faith in this company.

First of all, I use DxO PureRaw and it's an incredible good program and easy to use. After an update I had a little problem with the program not starting up and got in contact with customer service. Their reaction was very prompt and very friendly. An example for other companies!

Excellent and rapid support. Highly recommended products

Price discounts actually worked! Software is very powerful. I am coming from LR (10+ years) and have not found any issues in features and results. I am grateful for not having to pay a monthly fee and worry what the next price increase will be! I love both Photolab 10 and Pureraw 6.

The best apps for my photo editing

Excellent Software. The last version 6.5 had some Problems, but 6.6 work fine.
