Able to go at my own pace
Able to go at my own pace, knowing i have support when i need it. Easy instructions. Lovely people to talk to. Zoom calls twice a month with Declan and other learner players. I havent touched my keyboard for 12 months, (not Decplays fault but mine) but i know when i do they will be there to support me.

Always found it difficult to read…
Always found it difficult to read music notation and transfer that to the keyboard, Dec play has eliminated that stress with simple numbers that match the keys . Delighted to have found Dec play and really enjoy playing the keyboard

My course covers on line tuition for (mature) beginners learning to play the piano.
Remote learning requires good support.
The support provided by DecPlay is excellent. The DecPlay team communicate with students regularly, instructions are good and e-mail queries are answered promptly. Three months into the course and I have made considerable progress.

All extra marks of any sort apart from colour or number, please explain what they are.
I was confused at the start how to do chords as everything was numbered. Since then I worked out the chords (yeah!) but ‘marks’ above right hand numbers e.g. - , but figured that out eventually, so that is now o.k. Not sure about any other marks which I guess will run across but hopefully I will manage.

It's great that you have worked out the chords, and the 'marks' you describe above some of the numbers will also be explained throughout the course, and on those particular song sheets.

It is the best piano teaching in my opinion. I am 72 years old and enjoy it thoroughly. There is also a lot of support as well as tips available from videos on YouTube. I can only recommend this course to anyone who would like to learn some songs on the piano.

Fabulous Piano Course
If you've always wanted to learn to play the piano and think you are now too old (in your 70s, 80s or even 90s and beyond), then DecPlay is the course for you. I enrolled on the course a few months ago at the age of 81. I thought it sounded too good to be true. It is taught online and by Zoom if you want to join others. I can now play several tunes slowly. My life has been transformed, and I love playing my keyboard. I highly recommend the course. Enrol. You won't regret it. Thank you Declan. You are a wonderful teacher.

At age 80+ it was a simple way to learn to play -no previous experience. I find playing with right hand is good playing chords with left hand is ok but linking both is more problematical but I am getting there with simple tunes
