I'm a farmer who grows 81 different types of veg. I no longer earn enough from growing fresh food to afford to go to restaurants, so thought I'd try some cheffy recipe inspiration. Paid for a subscription.

Hadn't expected there would be so few recipes making use of British veg. Plenty meat, plus lots of fish that are almost extinct. But not much veg.

Also hadn't expected there would be so much product placement of overpriced imported branded products. Especially when paying for access

The chefs may be great and British. But the ingredients they use are not.

Bit disappointed. Will cancel

Recipes are always a feast not only for the eyes but a feast for the palate especially😋😋

What a resource for us aspiring amateur chefs. As ‘easy’ or as challenging as you want. I am learning so much and loving the way it is so well written and does not assume you are professionally trained.

Three great experiences! 1/ I have finally trialled two recipes on the GBC website, both produced for lunch yesterday. Both were delicious and I'm especially pleased (with the gammon recipe) to have nailed an exceptionally tasty meal that is different to the classic Christmas offering. There is soooo much on the website so in the end just had to take the plunge, choose some recipes and go for it. 2/ Top recommendations on Isle of Wight restaurants popped up on the website and, by coincidence, we were planning to spend two days there that week. Had a superb meal with incredible and innovative flavourings in Ventnor so I am very grateful for the tip. So far, so great! In short, really enjoying the Great British Chefs.

Great British Chefs is one of the best resources for cooking I've found. Plenty of easy tasty recipes, general guides and plenty of challenging recipes to test my skills to the limit (much to the irritation of my wife!)

It is the ONLY cooking website that consistently offers novel recipes that you cannot find anywhere else.

I love Great British Chefs and am currently looking forward to making fermented tomatoes.

Great British Chefs are a wonderfully welcoming and informative group. I have been with them since 2017 and every time I have a query they are so helpful and encouraging. Their advice, competitions, chef and ingredients insights, and recipes are second to none. BTW I am Atalanta, because Trustpilot keep calling me Marion Ford who I've never heard of and they haven't called me Atalanta Harmsworth at all which is really infuriating!

This is the perfect opportunity to find new recipes and find more about great British chefs.

I was having trouble changing my credit card and definitely(!) didn’t want to miss out on any new articles or recipes. I emailed GBC and was walked through how to change my payment info.
Their recipes are wonderful, many are challenging, but not too difficult, and always exciting.
Their customer service is wonderful too😊!
