We booked this hen festival specifically because of the location and the experience that was advertised. After booking, we were moved to a completely different location, which was not what we had originally chosen or paid for.

What was particularly disappointing was that the change was not communicated clearly, and we were not given enough information about the new venue before the switch was made. Had we known the true details of the alternative location, we would not have booked in the first place.

When we raised our concerns, we were told we could not receive a refund despite the event no longer matching what had originally been advertised. We feel this was unfair, as the change significantly altered the experience we had agreed to purchase.

Overall, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and refusal to offer a refund left us feeling misled and disappointed. We would advise others to carefully check the terms and be aware that the location and experience you book may not be the one you ultimately receive.

We feel extremely disappointed with how the situation has been handled and do not believe this is fair to customers who booked based on the original event details. Unfortunately, I would not recommend booking unless you’re prepared for significant changes after purchase.

We are extremely disappointed with our experience booking through GoHen so far.
From the outset, there has been a lack of transparency regarding pricing. We were initially informed that the deposit would be £5 per person; however, when we proceeded with the booking, the required deposit increased to £50 per person. We were then asked to pay the remaining balance just two weeks later, which was not what we expected based on the information provided at the start of the booking process.
Communication throughout the booking has also been poor. Activities included in our package have been removed without prior discussion or consultation, despite payments already having been collected from all members of the group. Rather than being given options or asked to approve the changes, we were simply informed that they had been made.
The most concerning issue has been the accommodation. We have been told that our campsite will be changed, but this decision was made without our agreement. The alternative accommodation we have been allocated is in a secluded location next to a fairy museum and consists of a dark cabin featuring dinosaur skeleton displays. This appears entirely unsuitable for the hen party we have planned and bears little resemblance to what we originally booked.
Furthermore, we have been informed that the venue has strict noise restrictions due to local wildlife, meaning that making noise is discouraged. This seems wholly inappropriate for a hen party and raises questions as to why such a venue would be considered suitable for this type of event in the first place.
The combination of misleading pricing, poor communication, the removal of activities, and the unilateral change of accommodation has completely undermined our confidence in the booking. We are now at a stage where several members of our group no longer want to attend the event at all because it is not what we originally agreed to or paid for.
At this stage, we feel that the service has lacked transparency, communication and customer consultation. Significant changes have been made without our consent, leaving us frustrated, disappointed and concerned about the experience we are expected to receive. We would strongly encourage anyone considering booking through GoHen to ensure that all details are confirmed in writing and to be aware that arrangements may change without consultation.

They are very sly and I would go as far to say fraudulent.

They say they have great relationships with there suppliers so they can’t Change it over even though it’s not what we booked. Yet if your relationship was so great with them surely you would want to maintain a good relationship. If this campsite was so great surely you could fill our spots.

If they continue to pretend they have acted right then I will continue to expose the lack of communication. This is now been taken further due to them conning us out of 2.5 thousand pounds .

We have disabled people on our trip and this is not okay . Someone blind to be in a dirty Forrest , in rooms with cobwebs and no WiFi. Poor lighting , creeky floorboards this is totally unacceptable

We have booked this as a festival hen du for it then to be changed to another location that does not suit what we originally booked.

This is not the experience that we wanted or originally booked and they have given no option to cancel or refund.

SCAM !!! Will advise everyone NOT to book.

Go Hen changed our venue as the one booked originally was closed down. We booked a boho festival glamping weekend. We were moved to a remote glamping site with medieval themed cabins called bothys that are totally secluded from each other. We were told if we wanted to spend time together we could all congregate at one cabin if we brought some camping chairs with us. The site is advertised as somewhere to get back to nature with lots of birds and plenty of insects! It says if you don't like mud then best probably not to book there. What an absolute disappointment and definitely not the hen do we imagined - the one advertised on the Go Hen website showed cabins near each other that shared a communal area with bunting and fairylights with a festival theme. So disappointed. Would give minus stars if I could.

The weekend away was just what we needed, everything was exactly how it was described. If we needed any questions answered or any adjustments, the team (mostly Sophie) from GoHen were more than happy to help and accommodate our needs. Couldn’t thank them enough for helping us create the perfect weekend for our beautiful Bride to be!
Individual payment installations made it so much easier rather than relying on just one person too!

Groupia made booking the hen do so simple! We had such an amazing time away, all thanks to the help of Sophie. She was able to book us lots of activities, answer all my silly questions and provide us with all the information needed. It was such an easy process and it meant I didn't have to manage individual payments and bookings alone!

Sophie from Gohen was amazing! I wasn't an easy bride things kept changing and people dropped out. However Sophie went above and beyond to help me , im so thankful for all her hard work!

Hen party planning made easy. Able to contact the go hen team and get a relatively speedy response. When the accommodation was cancelled the team made sure we had a nicer place to stay and compensated us for any trouble. Lovely team and customer service.

I definitely recommend using GoHen to book your hen party. It took all of the hassle away, they contacted and booked the venues, each guest could make individual payments and the whole process was made much smoother. The event coordinator (Ellie) was really responsive and accommodating to our groups needs, I'd 100% use them again to book another event.

Easy to book, responsive communication and very convenient to have all the payment and guest and itinerary information all in one place.

An 11/10 experience throughout. It was so easy to provisionally plan locations and activities before going ahead to book it. The team communicated throughout the booking process. Stephanie was great at answering all my questions no matter how big or small and did so really quickly. We managed to get an early check in to allow for decorating the venue. A simple process from start to finish. Would 100% use again if needed and will be recommending to other maid of honours!

Vicki was absolutely outstanding to deal with. I had so many changes to make (partly because it was a very last minute hen party) and Vicki accommodated all of them! Thank you so much - the event went off without a hitch! Would highly recommend GoHen

Sophie and Tom were amazing from start to finish. The whole event went as planned! The activities were so fun and was thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Our events coordinator Vicki was fab! I'd 100 % recommend Gohen. I was stressed just thinking about planning my sisters hen weekend but then I found Gohen and they took all the stress away. I just picked our location and activities then Gohen arranged everything! The whole weekend was just perfect!
