Richard and the team were super helpful…
Richard and the team were super helpful sorting me out with a van to relocate son to Berlin. I wasn’t really sure what size I needed, and changed the booking details more than once! But the team were super patient and super helpful, and the van did the job nicely. Will deffo be back again.

Just don't bother
Just don't bother. Rented a van to complete a house move - stressful enough! - key fob died on the morning of return after one warning on the dash around 7pm the night before. Called the office and was told I had yo go and collect the spare key myself and after a show down with the receptionist who blamed me for the failure I returned home with the spare key only to find that didn't work either!! The van is now a paperweight on my driveway, full of stuff and is due to be returned in 3 hours time. I've been patronised, and blamed for this issue by the staff in the office and have been told that standard assistance is 60 - 90 minutes. Was told by the yardman that signs off the vehicle that an array of chips, dents, scratches and marks around the vehicle "didn't matter" and weren't shown on his damage sheet. I guess it also "doesn't matter" that the vehicle is inoperable, cannot be accessed or moved and at this point in time can not be returned within the designated time with the fuel level topped up to the level in which it left their yard with.
Honestly, if you're looking for van hire, go somewhere else. This is a HIGHLY competitive market with an almost endless list of competitors to choose from. I wish I had of gone to Enterprise - also in bury - as I feel that their vehicles will have been fit for purpose and the support from the staff/company would have been appropriate. Just don't bother, I genuinely wish I had of gone with a bigger, more professional and most importantly a COMPETENT company with vehicles that are properly maintained and fit for purpose and unfortunately, Bury Van hire are NONE of these things - STEER WELL CLEAR!
