We had house insurance with them for over 50 years. At renewal I informed Baloise the house will be demolished and asked to reduce the insured value. As I didn’t receive the request to pay I checked what was going on. I was told that further insurance isn’t possible because the house is not occupied anymore. They cancelled the contract without informing me - I had to call to find out. The reason: the risk is too high as nobody lives in the house. They cashed 50 years of insurance premiums… No words.

All about the profit not customer interest

Bills up to 750 euro they don’t pay, even with a Full Omnium. The staff of the emergency number I called with my accident was totally incompetent and they refer me to my insurance agent on a Friday night. If you call them, you are of course at nights and in weekends forwarded to the emergency number ! Stay away from Baloise !

Baloise insisted i had to cancel my insurance with a registered mail. They then refused my letter because it was signed with my name and not with my signature.

Making it very difficult to stop an insurance feels like a scam trying to make us pay for another year because you missed the deadline.
I will never do business with this company again.
That is not how you treat customers.

I used Baloise car insurance with their company agent he used to get money in his account and delayed my payment to Baoise and then Bailose did black list to my name and didn't provide any car insurance this is really unfair from Bailose insurance
