Through her unique approach, she integrates these ancient and modern disciplines to guide others in cultivating conscious self-healing and holistic self-care. Ashley's mission is to empower individuals to access their innate healing potential through intentional, holistic practices. Ashley Cruz is a Senior E-500 Yoga Teacher with specialisations in: Hatha Yoga, Kriya Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Children's Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, as well as in Pranayama, the Shatkarmas, and Vipassana Meditation. In addition, she has certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, MBSR Teacher, Reiki Practitioner, Yoga Therapist, Medicinal Aromatherapist, and Private Personal Trainer. She is currently in training to become a Birthing From Within Doula and Childbirth Educator through the program led by Pam England, midwife and founder of Birthing From Within. This course offers a modern interpretation of childbirth preparation and support, tapping into ancient inner knowing in conjunction with evidence-based modern knowing; teaching her to provide deep, meaningful guidance to those in their childbearing years. Additionally, Ashley is training to become a Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting Teacher through the (MBCPTT) program offered by Nancy Bardake, CNM, via MindfulBirthing.org. She has a particular interest in Mindful Birthing, a meditation method she used during her own pregnancy and labor, as well as in women's health. This includes Pre- and Post-Natal Yoga, Menopause Yoga, and Womb Yoga, which supports menstrual health and fertility. Ashley is passionately dedicated to addressing racial disparities in access to wellness resources, birth outcomes, and trauma care. With a Master's degree in Comparative Literature, specializing in Decolonial Feminism from King's College London, she founded the Community Care Program. This initiative emphasizes the essential roles of humanity, compassion, and connection in healing. Through the program, Ashley offers free classes to individuals affected by the enduring impacts of colonialism and patriarchy, striving to create a more equitable, supportive environment for healing, empowerment, and transformative change.

Ashley is the best!

Yoga and Pilates with Ashley are just the best. She is so thoughtful about customizing the routine to the needs of the class. And being able to bring my baby and not worry about how she behaves allows me to come to class much more regularly.

Thank you so much Ally. I love having you and baby Rosie in class with me each week. It is truly awe-inspiring to witness your dedication to self-care. 🌸 Week after week, you show up not only for a powerful Pilates or Yoga session but also for yourself, embracing mindfulness even with your little one by your side. Between balancing the needs of your baby and returning to your practice, you embody patience, strength, and grace. I know I am like a broken record, but it’s truly inspiring to witness such a beautiful blend of motherhood and self-care. Thank you so much for joining me each week!💜
