I had a very disappointing experience with AlexHost.
Before purchasing my VPS, I specifically asked their sales team whether their servers were DMCA ignored. They confirmed that they were, so I decided to purchase the service.
However, within about an hour of activation, my VPS was suspended because of a single Netcraft abuse report.
I immediately contacted Netcraft and reported that the incident was incorrect. After investigating, Netcraft:
Confirmed the URL was non-malicious.
Asked recipients to ignore the previous removal request.
Officially rebuilt the incident report and removed my server IP from it.
I provided all of this evidence to AlexHost.
Despite that, AlexHost still refused to refund my payment. They continued to send the same template responses and kept referring to their Acceptable Use Policy, even after the Netcraft report had been corrected and my IP had been removed from the incident.
What disappointed me most was not the suspension itself—mistakes can happen. It was the way the situation was handled afterwards. Even after the third-party organization corrected the report, AlexHost refused to reconsider their decision or provide a refund.
Based on my personal experience, if you're looking for a hosting provider that carefully reviews abuse reports and treats customers fairly when mistakes are corrected, my experience with AlexHost was not positive. I hope they improve their customer support and dispute resolution process in the future.
AlexHost has failed to take appropriate action against a fraudulent website hosted on its network. Original company reported a website that was using their trademark and copying content from their official website to impersonate their brand and mislead customers, unfortunately I am one of those customers. When I entered qx-platform by mistake, I then was redirected to a third-party website where I invested money and was scammed.
I contacted original company and they resounded that they submitted a detailed abuse report several weeks ago, including evidence of trademark infringement and fraudulent activity. But no actions taken and the website remains online.
Based on my experience, I believe AlexHost has not handled this abuse report responsibly. In our view, a reputable hosting provider would investigate such reports promptly and suspend clearly fraudulent websites within a much shorter timeframe. Their online responses are violant. They prefer to act rude and pretend that nothing happened, instead of taking measures. They host sites that scam people and they are OK with that.
Alexhost is complete scam and facilitator of fake website, since there is no one to monitor their activity. they provide services to fraudulent websites whose operators use your trademark and copy your brand website materials to impersonate you and lure your customers into fake website, then scammers redirect users to third party website where users are scammed. Any serious hosting provider would block it in matter of 24 hours, we reported fraudulent website to alexhost multiple weeks ago, had multiple conversations, provided all the evidence, they did no do anything to take down the website. also they take weeks to reply.

Where did you learn to read? Where did you learn to think? you incapable to do both things clearly. I said that Alexhost is scam because it does not process DMCA / Court order request to remove fraud website content, I did not mention anything else, how come you mention other companies out of nowhere, very degenerate behavior, you deserve 0/5, not 1/5 rating
It's funny that you mentioned legal case, what about responding to our legal case and take down fake website qx-platform com??? or do you want us to start legal case against alexhost?
did you see that I provided ticket number [4e5f151b920ea537] in my review????
search in your email ( legal at alexhost) by this ID or ask someone else to do it for you, cause your head is empty

Even I provided my email, name and case number to your details request, so stop being a scammer and give us reply, which we have been waiting from you for weeks. I wish Trustpilot had an option to add images, I would show what kind of pathetic scammers you are, by showing email history and what exactly you do to facilitate scam activity
___________
you failed intelligence test one more time, why you even have this job? it's you who need to read who scammer is, I will provide description for you, since you are not even capable to google it, scammer is a person who perpetrates a fraudulent scheme or confidence trick to steal money, personal data, or valuables
since you host a website that is engaged in phishing with the purpose to lure users and steal their money, you automatically become a facilitator of such activity, besides, you was informed about this and all evidence of fraudulent activity carried out by qx-platform was provided by email, together with legal notice and other details that you requested, but you choose to facilitate scam activity, instead of solving problem, since you facilitate fraudulent activity towards our customers, it's our business and I will mind it, until you solve it, or shut down your shady business with all fraudulent websites that you host.
they blocked my server for false reason and refused to give money back. Before that, their server was down for 2 hours and they replied for my tickets for hours. Terrible service

My experience with AlexHost during the Netherlands infrastructure outage was very disappointing.
I had two VPS servers in the Netherlands. When the outage occurred, I asked AlexHost to migrate both VPS servers to Moldova together with all data, configurations and services. Support then informed me that they could only provide new, completely empty VPS servers in Moldova, with new IP addresses and without access to my existing data, backups or snapshots.
This meant that the temporary solution did not actually restore my services. I had to configure everything again myself, while my original data remained inaccessible.
Communication with support was also poor. My questions were frequently answered only partially or ignored. I repeatedly asked:
* whether my data in the Netherlands was safe,
* when access would be restored,
* what refund or compensation I would receive,
* whether my subscription would be extended for the downtime.
Instead of receiving clear answers, I was repeatedly told that they were checking the issue, working on it or that I should wait. One support agent answered only one part of a message containing several important questions.
Eventually, AlexHost created two replacement VPS servers in Moldova, but both were empty. I specifically requested that my subscription be extended by the number of days during which the services were unavailable, but I did not receive a clear confirmation that this compensation had been applied.
AlexHost later publicly claimed that seriously affected Netherlands customers received four additional weeks for free and that customers could request compensation. However, nothing was automatically communicated or clearly added to my account. Despite being directly affected and having two VPS servers, I did not receive any clear information about the promised four-week extension.
The situation became even more frustrating when AlexHost announced that the temporary Moldova servers would be terminated sometime between June 29 and July 5. They did not initially provide a specific date or time. This effectively required customers to remain ready for termination during an entire week.
Support also stated that the Moldova and Netherlands servers could not operate simultaneously, so the data had to be downloaded to a local computer and then uploaded again to the Netherlands server. They did not offer a short overlap period that would allow customers to copy data directly, test the restored services and switch with minimal downtime.
I understand that the original incident may have involved a third-party data centre and may not have been entirely under AlexHost’s control. However, communication, customer support, migration planning and compensation were AlexHost’s responsibility.
The main problems were:
* no access to data or backups during the outage,
* replacement servers provided without data,
* incomplete and vague support responses,
* no clear ETA,
* no clear confirmation of compensation,
* no coordinated migration back to the Netherlands,
* a very broad server termination window,
* the migration risk being transferred almost entirely to the customer.
AlexHost may have worked to restore its infrastructure, but from a customer perspective the entire process was chaotic, stressful and poorly managed.

I want to leave a honest review of my B2B experience with AlexHost (specifically their Netherlands location, VPS 132.243.166.183).
The Good:
The data survived. After a catastrophic 14-day total blackout, the server came back online exactly as it was. Our databases, configs, and file archives were 100% intact.
They honored the refund. When I formally declined their "30-day service extension" offer and demanded a refund for the ruined June billing cycle, they transferred the $18.00 back to my credit card without forcing me to initiate a bank chargeback.
The Bad (The Outage & Incident Handling):
On June 2nd, 2026, the entire Netherlands node went completely dead. Not just our VPS, but the AlexHost client billing panel for NL as well. The downtime lasted 14 continuous days (until June 15th).
While upstream Tier-1/datacenter incidents happen to any provider, AlexHost’s crisis management proved they are not ready for serious business clients:
Zero proactive transparency: There was no public incident URL, no status page, and no broadcast emails. You had to manually ping your ticket every 48 hours just to get a copy-pasted "We are working on it, no ETA" template.
Contradictory Tier-1 support: In the middle of the outage, staff member A wrote to me: "Your data is safe, fully intact and secure". Literally the next morning, staff member B replied: "We currently have no access to the data in the Netherlands, access is restricted". For a client running live databases, this level of internal contradiction causes immense, unnecessary panic.
However, do not host single-node production databases or critical B2B apps here. If an upstream provider cuts their uplink or the rack gets locked, their Tier-1 support will put you in a dark room with automated templates for two weeks while your business burns. Credit to them for not acting like scammers at the very end, but the stress wasn't worth the savings.

I want to share my experience with AlexHost.
I purchased an AMD VPS for €70 per month, which is not a low price for this type of service. Unfortunately, during the last 3 days, I experienced 4 separate incidents, resulting in approximately 4 hours of total downtime.
Each time I contacted support, I was told that this was the first time such an issue had occurred. However, similar outages have been happening repeatedly, with the server going down several times per day.
I am not satisfied with the quality of service provided for the price being charged. My WordPress store has had only 94% uptime over the last 3 days, which is extremely poor for a production website.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend AlexHost.

"I purchased a VPS service today, hoping for a professional experience, but it turned out to be a complete disaster.
The service has been non-functional since the very first moment. I tried to reinstall the OS, and the process took over an hour without any progress. The service is effectively unusable. To make matters worse, I reached out to their support team, but I received absolutely no response. It’s unacceptable to pay for a service that doesn't work, and to be ignored by support on the very first day.
I am officially requesting a full refund to my original payment method. As a customer, I have the right to share my honest experience to warn others.
If you are looking for a reliable hosting provider, stay away from AlexHost. They take your money and vanish. I demand an immediate refund for this non-existent service ...
Update:
To AlexHost ,
Thanks for your reply,
I got refunded via Paypal ,
i will not continue in alexHost ,
And i will not repeat that experience again,
please close my account.
Thanks

The company's Netherlands data center suspended service without prior notice or explanation.
It has been down for a week so far, with no expected recovery time.
No any contingency plan and appear unable to get your data.

I'm satisfied. The speed is fine, performance is fine for its money and no KYC registration. The support helped me with the big steal time. No problems at all.
I am extremely disappointed with AlexHost's customer service and abuse handling policies. They suspended my server and took my website offline immediately without any warning, grace period, or manual investigation.
My website is a legitimate consumer complaint and review platform. A brand filed a completely false "phishing" report simply to silence negative user reviews. Instead of doing a basic 10-second manual check or looking at the screenshot proofs I provided to show there was zero phishing involved, AlexHost blindly followed the automated third-party abuse report.
They refused to reactivate my server and told me I had to resolve the issue with the third party first, keeping my legitimate site down in the meantime. It is completely unfair and unprofessional to punish a paying customer and keep their business offline based on baseless, fake abuse reports without doing any internal verification.
If you are looking for a hosting provider that actually listens to its customers and reviews evidence before pulling the plug on your server, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Their strict reliance on automated bots over human logic is unacceptable.

I am writing this as an active customer who wants to use the company’s services but is facing obstacles that the company not only refuses to fix but actively defends.
1. VPN servers unavailable, compensation denied.
I purchased a Starter VPN in April 2026. The UK, USA, and Canada servers are unreachable when connecting from Russia. I contacted support (Ticket #639549) and proactively provided logs without being asked. The ticket was closed without a resolution, with the response: "The VPN service is not fully under our control, and we cannot adjust any settings." Compensation for the non-functional service was denied, citing "terms of use."
2. Billing ignored user settings.
While my Starter VPN subscription was still active, I received an invoice for a renewal I hadn't requested. The "Auto Renew" option in the client area was explicitly set to "Off." This error was only acknowledged and corrected after I manually intervened via support (Ticket #248945).
3. Unsubscribing from marketing emails is technically impossible.
There is no "unsubscribe" button for marketing emails in the dashboard. I contacted support (Ticket #248945), and the response was: "Unfortunately, we currently do not have such a feature; it will be developed and implemented, but we cannot guarantee exact dates." The ticket was forced to "Answered" status and closed without a fix. I reopened the topic, but the subsequent response was irrelevant to my question, and the ticket was closed again.
The company has been operating since 2008. It is baffling to see the lack of this basic feature in a long-standing service, especially since the right to withdraw consent is strictly mandated by EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and Moldovan Law No. 133.
4. No channel for reporting staff misconduct.
The "Report Abuse" form on the website only accepts complaints about hosting clients, not about the company's own performance. There is no feedback channel for the quality of staff work, and no direct contacts for management are available. When I cited applicable legislation, a staff member replied: "I don't think you should scare us." There is absolutely no way to escalate an issue.
Summary: Two closed tickets. Only one out of four issues has been resolved (the billing error). I expect a more professional approach from a company with such a long history.
UPDATE: Analysis of the company's public response
The company replied to this review after six days — following the publication of my second review on HostAdvice. Here is what the company communicated:
1. Disclaimer of legal responsibility. The company publicly confirmed that it operates under a white label model, reselling a third-party VPN service. In their response they state: "this is not our fault", shifting responsibility to the supplier. Under consumer protection legislation in the UK and EU, the seller (AlexHost) bears responsibility to the end buyer — regardless of its arrangements with third parties.
2. Architectural vulnerability in communications. The company suggests using the Unsubscribe link in their emails. However, both marketing emails and critical security notifications (such as CVE kernel vulnerability alerts) are sent from the same address (promo@). The company effectively gives the client a choice: continue receiving marketing emails, or unsubscribe and risk missing critical security notifications for their server. This is a violation of information security standards and GDPR principles — specifically, Privacy by Design.
3. Technical support processes. The company confirmed that a "ticket closed" status in their system does not mean "issue resolved." This explains why my support requests were closed unilaterally without resolution or compensation for the non-functioning product.
This response is a clear illustration of how responsibility is systematically transferred to the client within this company's architecture.
Reply to the 2-nd company comment
1 Maintenance. Ticket #639549 cites lack of control over a 3rd-party provider — not scheduled works. Advance notice was absent, confirming an unplanned disruption.
2 Channel Overlap. The May 8 CVE alert from promo@ proves linked systems. This architecture forces a dangerous choice: promotional emails or critical server security.
3 Structural Admissions. Your response reveals:
3.1 Tickets close without resolution, creating a false impression of success while the issue persists.
3.2 Technical failures are reframed as communication gaps to shift responsibility.
3.3 Your internal review confirms the previous architecture failed real-world scrutiny.
When will clients see measurable results: a functioning unsubscribe tool and separate alert channels?
I continue to monitor developments

I had a server, used for vpn for myself only. And also it stored a database, which was not in use for a long time. One day they have suspended this server. When I asked what is happening they told that I send spam emails from this server. And showed a screenshot that my ip is marked as "spam" on 1 of 61 anti-spam services named "BarraCuda". Their website says that algorithms they have is not 100% accurate, sometimes they make mistakes. But AlexHost decided to block my server.
They have a lot of negative reviews about this problem, so a lot of people suffered because of their scam.
They suspended my server without any evidence of me violating their rules and now support just answering me with random text, they will not reactivate server. I've spend a lot of time talking with support because I knew that server was almost afk, not sending any email, not violating terms. So I tried to get as much information as possible from them to share with others
