We had a great hen afternoon doing axe throwing and archery. It was very well organised and a great set up everyone enjoyed it

Outstanding fun and a totally new experience that I cannot wait to repeat again. Rob & Sharon provided safe and fun activities for my daughter’s Hen afternoon activity session. We were shown how to safely and effectively do archery, knife throwing and Angel throwing. Rob took time to explain safely how to use the equipment and progressed us to engaging in some competitive competitions.
Rob and Sharon down to earth lovely friendly people. I thoroughly enjoyed the time they spent with us!! I think a new interest has blossomed in archery. As a result of Rob’s and Sharon’s great tuition. Thank you so much for your time and effort!! We loved the afternoon! X You guys are awesome!!! Xxxx

From the beginning Rob was really informative and on the ball regarding bookings and if the rented accommodation would have the suitable space to ensure a safe and fun time. Rob and Sharron really brought energy to our Hen celebration and ensured the session was fun and structured with a healthy bit of competition. Definitely got our moneys worth. A great experience from Rob and Shazza! Loads of fun but he also helped us refine skills he was teaching us. So a great experience as a whole. He made a party atmosphere and joked around with us! Amazing afternoon. 10/10

Rob brought archery to us for a 30th birthday party! He was friendly and made the session fun for all 25 of us involved. I will absolutely be booking again for our next party!

As part of 60th birthday celebrations, our client wanted some fun activities for her guests to enjoy. A group of 32 adults were fully engaged whilst having lots of fun & banter taking part in axe/knife throwing activity. A very professional team with safety being paramount. Highly recommended and would certainly book again. Many thanks for an excellent day.

Everyone (there were 16 of us) giggled, learnt stuff and had fun. There gentle and kind approach made it fun for all! Plus they were super easy to deal with during booking. Book them tbey are fab!

Wow, from the start of my enquiry Active Aardvark were super helpful and responsive. I had several questions and requests and Rob was on hand to answer all of them. I hired the company for Archery and Axe Throwing for my wedding. My husband is Norwegian and I'm English so we wanted the organisers to dress up as vikings and Knights... and they did! So wonderfully!
The care and thought taken to make our day special, by adding extra personal touches throughout were fantastic, people are still talking about it!

All I can say is a massive thankyou to Rob and his team. It was a cold day and your patience and enthusiasm just shone through. I have not a single hesitation from using you guys again or recommending you to my friends and family!

We booked a session with Active Aardvark Activities for archery and air rifle shooting for my son who is in an electric wheelchair. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. It was wonderful to go somewhere that was easily accessible, with someone who took the time to adapt the activities so my son could be fully included. Nothing was too much trouble for Rob! It wasn’t just the inclusion but the extra lengths that Rob went to to ensure that my son was able
fully participate. Rob is a very professional instructor, he is patient, kind and took time to demonstrate exactly how to shot the arrows and air rifles and then help my son adjust each shot to improve his aim. Which meant he hit balloons, twice with an arrow and a bullseye with a the air rifle shooting. His best ever scores!
My son had the biggest smile on his face throughout the whole session. This is one fun day that we’ll definitely remember.
The added bonus was a rubber chicken catapult which was hilarious.

Had an excellent afternoon with Rob, both archery and axe throwing activities, as part of a stag day!
Having never taken part in either activity, Rob got each of us firing the arrows and throwing the range of axes & knives in literally no time.
Very good coaching and instruction, clearly very knowledgeable as he knew exactly how/what we needed to adjust to get proper results.
Really good fun, MUCH MORE FUN than I expected both activities to be. We all had a good laugh as it all became quite competitive, that's how easy we picked it up, under such good instruction.

EACH OF US CAME AWAY SAYING HOW FUN IT ALL WAS AND THAT WE'D DO IT ALL AGAIN!

Had a fantastic day doing archery and axe throwing for my brothers stag do! The instructor was excellent, he explained everything in detail from the history to how to get good, consistent scores!
We had a competition at the end which was great fun and the winner even got a little trophy. It was our second visit, and we will definitely be booking again! Thanks again.

Took my son Henry today after being invited by friends, to try rifle shooting with Active Aardvark Activities at Heath House Farm Forsbrook. We had a fabulous time!
Rob made the session fun from start to finish and asked the Mums to join in too. Rob is very professional and entertaining 😀! He made sure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. I would highly recommend him to host your air rifle,archery or axe throwing event. What with a complimentary ice cream for highest score what more could you ask for? 🤗

For my 60 birthday I wanted something different, for my friends to enjoy as part of the celebration. Itwas a bit of a challenge to accommodate a mix of ages (50-late 80's) and abilities. But Rob certainly delivered.. !

From when I first contacted him the whole experience was amazing. I had a rough idea of what I would like, but Rob help and suggestions it was a amazing day (axe throwing , archery and the most talked about plastic chicken catapult!!) I have not seen my friends laugh so much for a long time.

The whole afternoon was well planned, the training given was informative and well delivered (even Robs use of his well "used" jokes added to things..) Even though this is a fun activity Rob controlled the day and ensured everything ran smoothly and safely in a quiet confidant manner.

I would not hesitate to recommend Active Aardvark Activities to anyone who is looking for fantastic experience to mark a special day!

Rob provided axe throwing at our wedding a few weeks ago and I can’t recommend him highly enough! We were in constant communication in the weeks leading up to the day and he provided us with all the information we needed. When the venue we’re feeling a little apprehensive about it, Rob spoke with them directly and they were then looking forward to it and couldn’t wait to try it out!

Rob came early on the day and set it all up and it looked amazing! There was a target set up with out initials on which was a lovely touch! He was super helpful and engaging with all our guests, encouraging everyone to give it a go and giving people pointers to try and hit the target! I even heard that when we went in for the food, some of the venue staff and even our photographer went out to give it a try! Our guests have all said it was amazing and fun, and I can’t thank Rob enough for being there!

If you’re thinking of hiring Rob for an event, honestly DO IT! To be helpful enough to change the venues whole stance on the activity just speaks volumes about Rob! Our day was perfect, and thank you Rob for your part in that!! A day we, not our guests, will forget any time soon! THANK YOU!!

We were bought an axe throwing and archery experience as a birthday present from our friends. We had a great day, Rob was really fun, engaging and professional.

We will definitely be booking something else in the near future!

We booked Active Aardvark Activities for our daughters 11th birthday and all had a great time (including myself!) First was the angel stars, tomahawks then knife throwing, followed by archery. Rob was an excellent teacher and ensured all activities were made completely safe. The rubber chicken catapulting at the end was a bonus, those things can literally fly! Would recommend to all, something a bit different for a birthday party and will be remembered and talked about for a long while yet. Dave and Heather
