Animated Physio Reviews 

I have been attending both pilates Mat and the amazing Reformer classes included in my membership package in full this past year. They are the highlight to my week, so much so I now attend 3 or 4 times a week!
The level of knowledge and expertise of the instructors is outstanding. The class sizes are small enabling the instructors to tailor movements to an individuals needs with encouragement and understanding. There is variety in the exercises, equipment used and the sequences enabling both a full body physical and mindful session .
There is also a real community feel, with (a no pressure) fun monthly challenge, meet ups and free outdoor events.
My confidence, co ordination, balance and upper body and hip flexibility and strength have improved as well as having a stronger core and improvements to my mental health and energy levels.
Thank you to Anna, Laura.C, Mia and Alex! I enjoy what you each bring to the sessions you teach , and the supportive and friendly culture that you have created.

The Movement Mat is a quality piece of equipment! It has a very good firm but forgiving feel. The textured surfaces are both stylish and functional. I think very carefully about man-made materials that I buy (from a longevity and sustainability point of view) and am confident that the Movement Mat will be durable and long lasting.

It is also very reassuring that it has been designed by a Physio and Pilates Instructor with first-hand experience of what is important in an exercise mat.

I attended the pelvic floor workshop recently with Anna and found it really helpful, been practicing all tips & information and feel have made improvements already.Been going to pilates for 2 years plus now & would highly recommend It. Catherine Smith.

I recently experienced a shoulder injury, not related to exercise. The instructors at Animated Physio have been very supportive, suggesting ways I can continue my Pilates practice without aggravating the injury. To help my shoulder I also had massage sessions as part of the treatments offered, and I felt that the knowledge and experience of the Animated Physio team members was very important and beneficial.

This mat has a great level of support, not too hard or too soft. doesn't move around or stretch during excercise, and has a centreline so you can postion yourself accurately from the start of your class.
Great investment !!

Have had one of the new mats for some time now so feel have used it long enough to write a fair review. With my old mat my 'downward dog' would end as a 'face plant' as my feet would slide one way assisted by the mat stretching in the opposite way. I no longer do this as the new mat is wonderfully 'sticky' with no unwanted sliding and also does not stretch. Its a winner. Nicely padded and soft. After a few months of use still look good and new. Thanks a great buy

Having attend Anna’s Pilates class for a few weeks I realised how supportive the Pilates mat felt underfoot and when laying down on floor exercises compared to other mats I have used at gym and my home workout mats. Soft yet supportive - I then purchased the mat for home use as well as take to gym for other floor exercises.

Best Mat I have ever bought -
This mat far outweighs all other mats I have bought, the thickness of it is great for my joints and assisting with balance work. The middle line is great for positioning during a class too.

Love my new mat!! It’s so much better than my old one … it’s lovely and thick which gives great support for my joints when working on my balance moves. Highly recommend.

So glad I bought this new mat, so much better than my previous one. The middle line helps to align yourself, and as the mat is not too soft, it’s easier to balance on. It’s just the right thickness, easy to clean and nonslip. Love it!

The perfect mat!
I really like and gladly recommend the new movement mat. It allows me to feel safer when exercising, as it doesn’t slip or move on the floor, or stretch when doing downward movements. The level of padding provides comfort, especially to sensitive knees, while it can still be rolled up easily to a convenient storage size.

Having bought this Pilates mat after all the other mats, I have to say is impressive. The design is fab and the markers down the centre really does help you to align yourself in the correct position. Non slip when you do your lunges which is a first for me. Never had a mat that I could position myself without some movement. Thickness and comfort just perfect. Would highly recommend this mat.

Can honestly say I am impressed by the quality of this mat. Firstly, I love the eco credentials and that it comes with instructions on how to clean it properly to help it’s longevity! But more importantly the design and quality - it’s lovely and soft, a good amount of squish but supportive and firm under foot. Compared to my other mats it’s a really good length and I love the placement markers down the middle to help with position and alignment.

Having bought Animated Physio’s new movement mat a couple of weeks ago I thought I should review it - it is far superior to my old mat. It’s nice to have one that is just the right thickness to be comfortable to exercise on without being too difficult to roll up and store. There is more grip so you stay put when performing exercise routines and the logo on it can help with positioning yourself. All in all a really good buy.

Fantastic Pilates with Anna her classes have resolved my sciatica and now using one of her mats from her store I feel more connected with the floor with better better protection for my joints

The Movement Mat by Animated Physiotherapy is the DREAM mat! It stays exactly in place no matter what type of exercises you throw at it, it doesn’t slip or move at all which is great because all my previous mats did this really badly. It’s nice and thick without being too squishy, so my body feels really supported when I’m using it. Perfect for sore knees and backs! The design with the line of dots down the middle really helps me to get my body in the right place. You can tell just by feeling it that it’s excellent quality and will last so much longer than my previous mats ever did. 10/10, five stars, everyone needs a movement mat! Thank you Animated Physiotherapy for creating such a brilliant product!

I've only used my new Movement Mat a couple of times so far for Pilates but I love it, it's so robust, doesn't slip about on the floor or leave me sliding around! It's very soft too which I was surprised about and easy to clean.

I did an online Animated Physio Pilates class this morning using the new Movement Mat for the first time. So happy with the mat!! I'm in my 60s and this mat supported my aging wrists, elbows, knees and back during the pilates class. I didn't slip about on the mat or lose my socks during some of the exercises either! Highly recommend this mat. My older mat is now a 'spare' and consigned to the cupboard!

Game changer! Buy this mat!! I’ve been through so many and they have been too thin, too slippery or too thick and spongy. At last I’ve found the perfect mat that resolves all these issues. It’s comfortable, robust, I don’t slide when doing Pilates and it’s easy to keep clean. Highly recommend.
