Moving in with AnyVan was smooth and stress-free, even with some tricky issues along the way. The key is to make a detailed inventory list beforehand, covering everything you're planning to move, so you can save time and avoid surprises on the day.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They have a rip off cancellation policy. Make it appear it's easy to cancel but in reality they take you to the cleaners. I booked online to have a car moved 5 minutes up the road at acost of £121. I then rang the garage who said they had to cancel my appointment so I immediately rang Anyvan to cancel the booking, at this point no recovery truck had been assigned to my booking. The woman on the phone kept doing delaying tactics on the phone, after I gave her my booking reference number. Saying she needed to restart her computer and then asked me for the same reference number 5 times. By this point they had assigned a driver to my booking and she said im sorry but you will have to pay the full 121 if you cancel. I explained that the website makes it look like you can cancel if done before 48 hours without penalty but was told it's within 48 hours of the due delivery date. I can understand if I'd booked 2 weeks ago and then cancelled on the day being charged a penalty (not the full amount), but I rang and was cancelling within 5 minutes of booking it and before a driver was assigned. I can even understand being charged an admin cancellation fee but THE FULL AMOUNT. Ridiculous. The booking staff I spoke to was rude and no empathy. When I asked if I could speak to a manager, I was told there was no manager in and they would tell me the same thing. Never use this company!

I am writing to express my severe dissatisfaction with the service provided by AnyVan. When booking, I clearly specified on the online form that the entrance was over 20 meters from the nearest parking spot. Despite this, upon arrival, the drivers were unprofessional; they refused to carry out the agreed-upon work, citing the distance and doorway width, and even insisted that we assist with the heavy lifting.

When I contacted your office to resolve this, the representative demanded additional payment, falsely claiming we had not disclosed the distance—despite it being listed on my booking form. When I challenged this, she refused to provide a quote for the additional cost and instead instructed the drivers to leave. We were left in a vulnerable position at my elderly, disabled aunt's care home and were forced to hire a third party at short notice to complete the move. AnyVan’s subsequent refusal to offer a refund, combined with the blame shifted onto us for the property's access, is completely unacceptable. This was a disgraceful experience and an unprofessional way to conduct business.

Drivers Van broke down but they soon replaced with a new driver communication excellent and the removal guys were very helpful and quick to get job done they work very hard.

The tracking can be a bit slow or inaccurate with its estimated timings but the driver was super nice and helpful and I don't know what I would've done without AnyVan!!

Great value, excellent communication and our driver displayed additional integrity and professionalism in letting us know an item had been left in the van, and arranging for it’s return. Would definitely use again if needing to transport several items.

Our experience with AnyVan was extremely disappointing and stressful from start to finish. My family was moving out of a four-storey home we had lived in for over 50 years, so this was already an emotional process. Unfortunately, the service we received made it significantly worse.

The initial video consultation failed to properly assess the volume of our belongings. We were reassured that additional boxes would be sufficient, which proved to be a major underestimation. We were charged £1,250 for packing and storage, with the understanding that redelivery was included—only to later be told there would be an additional £750 fee.

On moving day, what was expected to take a few hours lasted 11 hours. As the day went on, items were handled carelessly. We were then told we owed an extra £1,600 due to “additional items,” which felt unreasonable given the inadequate initial assessment. Late in the evening, exhausted and with no alternative, we felt pressured into paying the driver £1,200 directly just to complete the move (Pepe and Alec - I will name you!) account details go by the name of ANA EMANUELA IROFT. Be aware of these drivers.

Storage costs were also unclear. We were quoted £77 per week but invoiced £109, alongside further unexpected charges. Customer service has been slow to respond and unhelpful.

Most concerning, after accessing our belongings, we discovered personal items missing, including gold jewellery that had been securely packed, when unpacking items were missing.

Overall, this experience lacked transparency, professionalism, and care. I would not trust AnyVan with my belongings and strongly advise others to consider alternative providers.

This was really great service. Everything as so smooth. The driver so polite and helpful. I had been stressed about the removal and he handled it so well and put my mind at ease. This was well worth the money and I would recccommend this driver and service!

Tracking is a great and the phone call 10mins before arrival is a great idea!

This was a great service that made a long-distance purchase possible! Set up was easy and the service was on time (with great communication!) and the movers who came were very professional and went above and beyond our expectations! Thank you anyvan!
