I'm clearly not the only one!
Well it seems that I'm far from the only one to have my card inexplicably snaffled by one of the machines operated by this bunch of crooks!
Customer service, once you've got past all the obstacles they put in the way to discourage actual human contact, turns out to be worthless - a virtual 'shrug of the shoulders' is all you get and a suggestion that you contact your bank to cancel the card and request a replacement - hardly helpful when you're stood in the street with no cash and now no means of obtaining any!
First time I've had such a problem but in future I will make sure that I do not use Cashzone ATM's and I'll make a point of discouraging others from using them as well.
Incidentally, the staff in the shop this particular machine was attached to informed me that it had been malfunctioning for at least a week but no sign of an engineer to fix it and nothing on the display to inform potetial users that it was out of order.
Avoid!

I used a local atm owned by CashZone, outside TG Jones in Scarborough. The atm swallowed my card, gave no notice, no chance to enter my PIN & the screen continued advertising as if nothing had happened. Staff inside very helpful, but desperate for this atm to be reported & removed, as this has happened to many other innocent users apparently!! 😕
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MACHINE!!!
Helpline for CashZone on sticker on atm does not respond, but redirects to their website, which also doesn't help at all!! (Thank goodness my bank, Santander, is immediately available & cancelled my card, issued a new one & was brilliant)

Used cashzone locally and it swallowed my card and then showed "offline" so nothing would work on the keypad. My wife rang cashzone and they said "Don't worry the card will go to a section of the machine that is safe and nobody can access it" Ten minutes later the machine rebooted and yes you guessed it my card appeared, so anyone could have then taken it and used it. Terrible service and clearly I am not the only person finding real problems with this company
The cashzone cashpoints are unreliable
The cashzone cashpoints are unreliable, the call centre you speak to if you call the number posted on the machine knows nothing about the product or the company, and the company takes no responsibility for issues with the cashpoints, basically shrugging it off as "oh well, it happens, not our problem". Avoid these machines if at all possible.

This absolute scam of an ATM company. Honestly, go out of your way to use an actual banks machine.
This one took our card as it was entered and a e didnt even press any buttons. We got told it was a hardware issue, but to contact our bank? Hang on mate, its your machine. So fix your machine.
Absolutely useless customer service and no complaints email, just a generic contact us form that doesnt submit. Utter crap and I hope everyone boycott them so they go bust
Never trust this cash zone atm .

Genuinely the worst ATM experience ever
Genuinely the worst ATM experience. Tried to activate a fresh credit card and it swallowed the card. Went into SPAR to ask for a number to call and the lady told me that specific ATM had swallowed multiple cards in the last few weeks.
Called the number and customer service was an all time low, telling me they cant send out a technician and to just cancel my card.
I would highly advise not using these ATMs as all reviews are bad.
Very Slow ATM
Used the Cashzone ATM at my local CO-OP yesterday. Although the machine did work it was VERY slow to the point at which, having waited several minutes, I tried to cancel the transaction. The machine held my card and wouldn't let me cancel but it did eventually dispense cash. It was a very unnerving experience and I would suggest people avoid using these ATMs and find a normal Link machine instead.
Crooks in suits
This company is being run by a bunch of crooks. They are putting £20 notes into coop ATM. S covered in yellow die.which no business wll take. No doubt these notes have been sprayed during a robbery which makes them wholeless. Avoid their ATM. S at all times
Rock Bottom Customer Service
Speechless really. Customer service at its rock bottom. After the muttering came sarcasm, abuse then they hang up. This company should not be allowed to operate.
Worst 'customer care' I've experienced
Cashzone has the worst 'customer care helpline' I have ever had the misfortune to use. The call handler was sarcastic, unapologetic, not reassuring and tried to cut me off by hanging up. He had no interest in my complaint, or predicament, and his only 'help' was to tell me to contact my bank. The ATM was clearly faulty, but he couldn't care less about it.
Giving them one star is being over -generous.
I actually rate these robbing ……
I actually rate these robbing ……. Zero tried withdraw £70 card spat out drawer didn’t open waited a good 10 minutes no money !!! Got home checked bank money off my account , luckily bank gave me the money while they investigate avoid these machines at all costs
Cashzone did not pay out my withdrawal…
Cashzone did not pay out my withdrawal nearly 2 months ago and my bank is still waiting for them to resolve. I have photo evidence etc. Disgusting service, try not to use this ATM Group anywhere
Avoid CashZone ATM’s at ALL costs !
I seldom use ATM’s but having used an ATM today owned and operated by a Company called CashZone whereby I received a response telling me it wasn’t possible to issue a receipt at this time, - it then proceeded to debit my account - but failed to dispense ANY cash! I’ve never experienced this before and stood at the machine for 30mins while I called my bank!
The agent from my bank immediately said this company had an extremely bad reputation and now looking at the reviews. I can see he was right
Why on earth these untrustworthy companies are permitted to continue scamming members of the hardworking public I do not know ma sign of how this country is going further and further downhill
Roll on a new government …that can actually do something about the shocking state of this country - as whoever comes into power next time cannot possibly be as bad as the current shambles
Absolute robbing scammers
Absolute robbing scammers. Cashpoint has according to Asda staff "notworked for 3 whole days and at least 9 Asda customers have been affected" yet it's still taking your money out of your account when you try to withdraw cash and then they don't dispense the cash. The machine has not been disabled in any way, they just keep taking your cash out of your bank account and no cash dispensed! I've been told by my bank that it could take up to 15 days to get my money back. Link do not want to know, i contacted Cashzone who own the machine who were worse..... saying they "can't do anything about the machine until it Asda( where the cashpoint is located), contact them directly". I spoke to Asda customer services desk who said they have nothing to do with these machines, they have no responsibility for these machines and would not be making contact with Cashpoint. It's modern day theft and potential fraud! What kind of racket is this company? Shocking!

Gave me the wrong amount l asked for asked for $300 gave me $120 six twenty’s instead of six fifties and then had a recorded message to contact my bank l will never use a stand alone money machine again they have no nil customer service l was left feeling frustrated with no answer or help scam as far as I am concerned
Machines Taking Cards
When the machines are out of money to dispense, they retain the next customers card! I have just used the ATM machine in my local Coop and to say I'm frustrated is an understatement. The Coop employee nonchalantly advised "oh yeah it's out of cash" after I queried why my card had been kept by the machine. I asked why a notice was not put on the machine advising of this and his next reply was "it's not our machine, so we can't put a notice on it" This beggards belief, tbh.
In this digital era that we live in, then surely a ntice from the machine owner can be put on the screen advising that it's not working. You'll get a notification advising there's no money in the machine so this prompt should enable you to advise the next customers. People cannot be without their cash cards for a week. If people haven't got internet banking / banking apps then it'll be difficult for them to advise their bank of the situation.
I'm still waiting for my money to be…
I'm still waiting for my money to be reimburse it has been ten days it was money from universal credit where l need to survive a month now l have no food got bills to pay this is causing me health problems and stress
AVOID THESE MACHINES
Tried to withdraw £250 from a cash zone atm outside my local Asda, it spat my card out and said an error had occurred I would not be charged for the transaction and was given a receipt saying it had not dispensed my cash, so I used the one next to it as there’s 2 of them and withdrew my £250 out of that one, checked my bank and £255 was taken from my bank twice, contacted my bank to dispute the transaction and Iv been told I have to wait for cash zone to respond which could take 50 days, this was 2 days before Christmas so I am now £255 out of pocket till they decide to respond AVOID THESE MACHINES!!!!
