Would be a 5 star as the assessor was brilliant he really took his time and had patience with me during actual assessment, the only thing which was annoying was the amount of time the whole process... See more

Wait time was not very long (a few weeks).
Problems with online booking system were quickly resolved over the phone.
The assessor was patient and understanding, thorough without being intrusive and helpful and approachable whenever I needed clarification or to ask a question. Initially I was very nervous and anxious but by the end I felt it had been an overall very positive experience.
Everything was great from start to finish.
The only issue I had was due to my ADHD I could have done with a few reminders to get the questionaires completed. I think it took me about 5 months to complete all of the forms. Ged who was the ADHD nurse was exceptional.
I have not had the easiest of times and was a bit apprehensive about looking at a diagnosis. The whole process has been seamless however and I want to thank Maryam for being wonderful and helping me with getting through the video consultation. She was understanding and had so much patience with me. Very professional but lovely at the same time, I couldn't have asked for more.
The process was explained to me perfectly and the letter received a few days later was clear and concise.
I am so thankful to CARE ADHD and they have helped put me on a journey to better understand myself and get the support I need, be it through my work or through helpful sources they have given me.
The man doing the assessment put me at ease and made me feel calm. He said collided everything really well and made me feel heard. Great experience.
Clinician was very kind and supportive and the report was completed promtly.
A very fast turn around and finally got the validation I’ve been seeking for years. Thank you care ADHD!
I really have had a good experience I found them extremely patient and calm manner.
Felt like i was listened to and the lady was very understanding.
Referral accepted quickly and promptly had my assessment and diagnosis.
The person who done my assessment was lovely, but did have to wait longer then i hoped for outcome, but was all good in the end.
I found my Assessment came much earlier than I anticipated. I didn’t have to wait very long at all for a Right To Choose Assessment.
My Assessor was Very Good and put me at easy as I was anxious about the assessment.
Care ADHD have been Very Prompt and Great to deal with regarding my Assessment. With Many Many Thanks. A Very Efficient Service.
After struggling and not knowing what's going on the best thing my GP did was to put me on the rite to choose pathway the response time was really quick compared to the normal waiting list with the NHS which I was on originally, to finally get diagnosed gave me a sense of clarity finally and a sort of closure for beating my self up for many many years, the team and service they offer are fantastic. Also the medication I have been put on is changing my life to be honest, I still can't believe it a tiny little tablet is helping me function which I call normal, still have not hit my ideal dose yet but I am only a month in but confident it will work. But yeah highly recommend these guys and thanks for giving me the answers I needed.
My assessment was great and my report came back in 8 days and was very thorough
Awaiting next steps and treatment
Originally was very impressed when I received my forms and then assessment appointment fairly quickly. My assessor was great, friendly and reassuring but she told me I would hear from her within the hour to let me know the outcome, i had to call up for the next week to chase this and was told they will tell her to call me. Eventually a week later I received an email from her saying she had attempted to call multiple times which she hadn’t.
After diagnosis I was told there would be a 12 week wait for my first titration appointment which I was shocked by, considering my friend who was diagnosed by a different service had her first titration appointment at the end of her assessment. Now I am 6 months in and still haven’t got an appointment date and advisors on the phone or live chat are no help at all, they send generic responses and have zero empathy or compassion.
It seems as though they keep their waiting times looking low by getting people assessed quickly, to then leave them waiting for what feels like a life time, struggling with a new diagnosis and radio silence from CARE ADHD.
It’s also worrying their excuse for this is that they are ‘low on providers’ when they aren’t hiring.. so how are they going to rectify this? Seems like we will be waiting forever for medication. DO NOT recommend.
