I recently completed the RPC-L1 Rotorcraft Part A training course with Coptrz, undertaking the theory element in May and the practical assessment in August. The theory section was straightforward and consisted of several self-taught online modules covering all the key drone-related topics, including airspace, weather, and specific category operations. The online theory test was made up of multiple-choice questions, and the results came back relatively quickly. Due to availability, there was around a two-month wait for a practical assessment date, but once a date was secured, everything ran smoothly. I completed the practical assessment at their Kent base with Philip and Joel. Philip was my trainer during the demonstration sections, while Joel was the examiner. Both were incredibly informative, reassuring, and friendly, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Overall, it was a good experience from start to finish. I’d recommend Coptrz to anyone looking to undertake their drone training.

Timely and responsive comms with knowledgeable, friendly instructors. Olivia was my point of contact within COPTRZ and she was always efficient in dealing with me, keeping me informed of the requirements for my theory and practical and letting me know of some last minute changes for the latter in good time. At my practical, Phil and Joel, two experienced UAS pilots themselves, provided a great instructional period that put me at ease and prepared me well for the assessment later that day. RPC L1 training
Recently had my RPC L1 training with Coptrz with Louis and Phil. Did the preparation training using the Online method but was great and informative and prepared you well for the in person instruction and assessment. Both Louis and Phil were great instructors, very calm and good instruction and made the whole experience enjoyable. the instruction by Louis was very direct, clear and informative making learning to techniques easy to pick up and execute. The build up of the instruction really helped when it came to the assessment. Phil who did the assessment was very calming and helpful while being impartial from the initial instruction. Overall great day and learned loads. Thanks Coptrz.

Just passed my RPC-L1 assessment with COPTRZ and wanted to say a huge thanks to Phillip and Louis. Both were incredibly knowledgeable, professional and genuinely sound throughout the whole process. Phillip was a great instructor who made everything easy to understand and helped build my confidence, while Louis conducted the assessment in a fair and relaxed manner. A great experience from start to finish and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to develop their drone skills.

Myself and a colleague completed the RPC-L1 online course, and found that the course content was very well set out, informative and in-depth.

The practical exam for the end of the course was well-run; Louis, Freddie and Luke provided a really friendly, helpful and enjoyable atmosphere for a great, hands-on experience with VLOS flights and manoeuvres.

Very well run from start to finish. The course was both interesting and effective, and the communication throughout was excellent, especially from Olivia and Jay.

The flight instructors, Louis and Phillip, were exceptionally knowledgeable, approachable and friendly, which made the practical side of the course a really positive experience.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The whole RPC-L1 training and assessment process was very well organised, and both the instructor and assessor were knowledgeable, professional, and clear in their guidance.

I particularly appreciated that all equipment was provided on the assessment day, removing any worries about forgetting something important when travelling.

Recently completed my flight instruction and assessment through Coptrz.
I had a very laid back but informative training session with Louis at the start of the day. He was very patient with me and gave me plenty of time to find my feet with each section of the assessment process.
My final assessment was carried out by Luke, he was a little more no nonsense than Louis but then I feel that's the way it should be for the assessment.
The guys worked well together and looked after us well throughout the process.

The course was heavy but the trainers made it worth while. The info and skills learned have help me lots. The whole 3 days were great especially the flight testing on day 3

Recently bought a lot of equipment from, and under took the RPC Level 1 course with Coptrz. Really good support from start to finish.

I had my RPC 1 training and assessment with Louis and Luke, who are both very friendly and knowledgable.

Luke did a really good handover of our M400 with my colleague and provided us with a cheat sheet for settings for our payloads to get the best results.

Olivia kept everything on schedule with our order and training, making sure we had everything we needed to progress.

Really nice company to work with, you are in good hands with Coptrz!
