Google Getting from Bad to Worse

Google Getting from Bad to Worse

I am writing this review because I am officially fed up of the prompts in my email and drive

I have a paid workspace - I do not need daily advertising in my work software

Upgrade this , AI summary that, Security Pro Plus the other

Its so. very. incredibly annoying.

Gemini is very intrusive - it never leaves you alone, and its an absolutely awful programme.

It does nothing of any use - the Search in Drive has become 10 times worse since its introduction

Things and Features that used to be simple , are now all plonked under one single AI on or off button

Take it or leave it as Google says

Here, take my 1 star review.

Review of Volza

Company details published without consent

Our company details are published without consent.

Emailed Volza politely to remove our details - but they did not reply.

We dont use their service, we didnt sign up for their service - yet our import , export details are listed publicly on their site.

When did we authorise this? When did we agree to this?

Review of Shopee

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

They do not care about Sellers anymore

They do not care about Sellers anymore. Please heed this warning for new sellers.

Everything is in favour of the buyer

Dont like it - too bad send it back
Dont want it anymore - too bad send it back

Shopee fails to deliver? - too bad send it back

Shopee expects lightning fast order processing (or dumdeedum, penalities) but, any mistake they make is also your problem.

Sellers have no way to contact Buyers - no phone, no complete address, no email.

Shopee / SPX can fail to deliver, provide no evidence, and send you back a smashed up box.

Compensation? Zero and Zero.

Buyers can pick whatever incoherent reason to send something back

Compensation for time, packing, processing, restocking? Zero and Zero.

Comissions?
Oh god - up and up and up and up

The new *compulsory* 2% ad fee

2% of your orders are skimmed and neatly marketed as "Ad Growth Plan"

Your earnings are redirected to Shopee Ads, and you must spend on ads, even if you dont want to

If everyone is spending on ads = nobody spending on ads

Until the minimum bids for frontpage become astronomical

Who wins? Shopee
Who loses? Sellers
