Be very careful with Virtuagym
Be very careful with Virtuagym. Without any prior notice or consent, they upgraded my subscription to a more expensive plan based on the number of clients in my account — including many inactive members who are no longer paying customers. I never agreed to this change, and yet my monthly fee increased without warning.
To make matters worse, they automatically renew the contract for 12 months at a time and refuse any possibility of early termination. When I raised my concerns, they simply pointed to their general terms and showed no willingness to cooperate or offer a fair solution.
What’s especially troubling: their own support page states that, after the initial contract period, you can cancel on a monthly basis with 30 days’ notice. But when I tried to cancel, I was told I’m locked in until November. They don't even follow their own stated policies. That feels deceptive.
In short: poor transparency, no flexibility, and an unreasonable attitude toward small business owners. This doesn’t feel like a partnership — it feels like a trap.
If you’re a solo trainer or small studio owner, I’d strongly advise you to look for alternatives. There are other platforms that treat you with respect and won’t lock you into contracts like this.
