I really enjoy the concept of interrail however the execution could be better.

Having already paid for the interrail pass one feels kind of cheated when also having to make seat reservations.

One thing is paying for the seat reservations, which is annoying in itself. Another thing is that seat reservations available to people doing interrail are limited which makes last minute planning impossible. Seeing as being able to do last minute planning is one of the charms of interrail, I find this a serious flaw in the system.

Also, the app could be better and the slots for writing down departure and arrival destinations on the interrail pass are few.

We just had the worst train experience of our lives. If we could give minus 5 stars we would.

We’ve been traveling around Europe with interrail passes and have had no problems so far. For the TGV train going from Paris to Strasbourg (July 23rd 2022, 07.20 am) we needed seat reservations as well, so we bought those. When the conductor arrived in the train, we showed him our seat reservations and interrail passes. Showing him the interrail passes we noticed a mistake we had made on the passes, pointed it out to the conductor and let him know we would fix it immediately. He responded by violently pulling the interrail passes out of our hands and ordering us to pay a fine or he wouldn’t give them back to us. When in utter surprise we declined to pay the fine, he walked away with our interrail passes without giving us any information.

We acknowledge that we might have been at some fault, but experiencing violence, blackmail and ultimately stealing of our interrail passes has left us in such a shock that we will never again travel with this company.

Det er en falliterklæring, at man som årskortholder ikke har muligheden for at besøge parken, når man vil. Det var hele årsagen til, at jeg købte årskortet. Er utroligt utilfreds!
