waste of money

I was changing to them because i heard great things. Just to be clear, I need an Accountant because I do not understand taxes, I was naive enough to belive - as I am still now - that this is what an accountant is for. My bad if this is not the idea of Accountancy Partnership and if i am misunderstanding this i am more than happy to take down this review again. As it tuns out, it is not, you just pay them every month but at the end of the year you end up paying a fee for missed filing (yes, i did not not book payroll, but i was very clear from the start of my contract that I do in fact need deadline remionders which I was told to receive, and they also tell you that they cant do the end of the year taxes because you changed the program and the old information has gone which whiles asking when doing the change was not communicated that i should have done something - whatever that should have been. So noone is doing my taxes, i have to pay a fee and am left with a pile of problems. Which will most likely will cost my more fees and I need to hire a proper accountant who I ahve to pay again to redo what i payd for... What a waste of money

I honestly recommend going elsewhere. It's a frustrating process and a significant waste of money.

I have been with them for a year, and many things have gone wrong during that time.

I have been moved between departments multiple times, rarely spoke to the same accountant twice, and had to do everything myself—researching tax efficiency, categorising expenses, salaries, dividends, etc.

At the end of the tax year, I also had to pay a fee because I moved expenses into the wrong category within their system, despite being assured that I wouldn't need to worry. They said someone would check that everything was in order and correctly filed before submission... yes, I filed expenses under 'staff welfare' instead of 'staff benefits,' but I am not an accountant and am not skilled at it, which is why I believed they would handle it correctly, as they repeatedly assured me during conversations.

Instead of saving money, I’ve spent quite a bit on something I could have done myself with similar success. So, if you’re like me and naively think they’re there to make your life easier, be helpful, and ensure tax efficiency, I honestly recommend going elsewhere. It's a frustrating process and a significant waste of money.

I am very disappointed that they refuse to see that it should have been their job to do a final check. What would I need them for if not to make sure my account is in order? It’s very unfortunate. Clearly, this was an internal mistake. I genuinely believed that having an accountant would be worthwhile. I can't believe how wrong I was. They made this year unnecessarily difficult by bouncing me around and failing to explain things properly. I am eager to learn and would have loved to understand my taxes better, but that felt impossible. An expensive lesson I had to learn.

Needless to say, Crunch and I have parted ways at this point.

UPDATE: Happy to talk if that means that the company is taking responsibility for making false promises to take care of the health of the account of their clients - as promised

Hi Jess,

UPDATE 24/07/2025
I received your email yesterday evening containing a forwarded email chain with my colleagues. However, as the correspondence stated that you didn't wish to speak to Crunch about anything else, I wanted to respect your request and didn't push for further comment.

If I have taken this out of context, then I apologise, and would still welcome the opportunity to gain some further insights. I will reach out to you via email directly.

Perfect service!

I received a pair which was sold out everywhere else for a great price in less than 24 hours after ordering (Wow!) - I got mixed up the sizing, so needed to exchange the pair. I was on the phone with a very lovely lady (Adriana) who was very nice, efficient and helpful. I already received my return label and look forward to my new pair of sandals. Perfect service!
