I need to meet with Mark to get the process down. For now I have been just providing the tar file and release notes in a new folder. 4.3.4 August 24, 2022 - Add patch for dskopts=F to allow double digit precision on playback -- Laurence Oberman Senior Principal Software Maintenance Engineer - Storage Red Hat North America CEE-SEG |

Just to let people know I recently released V4.0.4. Even though it has been awhile since the last release, I just want to assure everyone collectl is alive and well and not to associate the infrequent releases with the lack of commitment or attention. Collectl has been very stable for a long and has most features most people want so there has been less need for more frequent releases. -mark |

I just discovered that the version I just released doesn't run on RHEL7 because it uses syslog.pm to write to the system error log and apparently that perl module is not part of rhell7 so I had to make the code conditional. As a result I removed 3.7.2 from sourceforge and pushed out 3.7.3, noting this shouldn't effect that many people and to those that it does, sorry about that... -mark |

I'm trying something a little different with this release and NOT including rpms or srpms since it's gotten that much more difficult to try to keep up with different releases and I don't want to take the responsibility for building all the different permutations. Besides, there are already people out there doing so. Therefore I plan to just put a tarball out on sourceforge which one can always download, untar and run ./INSTALL, which is essentially what the tarball does anyways. -mark |

Someone just discovered a serious bug when trying to report network details in plot format, which put collectl into an infinite loop. Fortunately this happened before it was out for very long. I've pulled the code from source and release 3.6.9 has the fix. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused -mark |

Just wanted to let people know I've just released a new version of collectl on sourceforge. Lots of small/minor changes and a few new switches. Just do a collectl --whatsnew after you install it to see what's new or read through the release notes to see more detail. Enjoy... -mark |
