This program in APL calculates preceding generations for a given generation in Conway's Game of Life. They are small, 4x4 to 13x13 and there are periodic boundary conditions which eliminates many configurations. The APL interpreter that is required to run the program is available as a free demo version.

Based off the Civilization concept, Rise and Fall is a 3d real time world domination strategy game. This game will be geared toward multi-player play, but will include a single player mode.

APL is an arrary-oriented language initially conceived in the 1960s by Kenneth E. Iverson, IBM Fellow and 1979 ACM Turing Award recipient.
