The is the third machine I have bought in recent years and I have to say, by far the best, no bells and whistles, no programming, just straightforward serviceability. It is fast for a domestic, feels sturdy and my first project was sewn without issues, in furnishing fabric, at some stages 5 layers thick. Would recommend without reservation.

I am over the moon 🌓 with the machine. I work on Upholsterey projects. The machine has glided through sowing work; Including upholstery Linen fabric for dining chairs. Upholstery velvet , Kilim heavy chenille fabric for cushion covers. I have used triple thickness for piping work. Fabulous 💖 I am very wary that I want to look after the machine and carnt wait to get a service engineer { after covid19) to show me how to carry out proper maintenance.

Really liking my new sewing machine. The only minor issue for me was the speed, it was way too fast for my taste. Luckily, I found a video tutorial on how to adjust the pedal speed, and now it works great!

Was disappointed it did not have automatic needle threader.
Really pleased with my Heavy Duty 5511 Singer Sewing Machine. Have not used it a lot at the moment as I am very busy with my large garden. However, looking forward to the autumn and winter when I can devote more time to my sewing. It's not as heavy as my 60 year old Singer 237, which it replaces, (so that's a bonus) but just as easy to use.
It's perfect, I've not played with it much as been too busy but made a couple of lavender bags. My old singer sewing machine was my mum's hand machine so this is fantastic. Now I plan to start making my own clothes using patterns, something I have wanted to do. Oh by the way, the bobbin winding is great and threading is very easy. Very pleased with my machine.

Very quiet good machine
I wish I’d had this machine along time ago,I’ve it will stitch anything you put to ,as yet I haven’t tried the button hole foot.The service was excellent,and it came very quickly,even more so as we depend on the ferry weather bad no ferry no post.
Easy to use. I haven’t used it with thicker material yet (e.g. blanket and waxed cotton) but looking forward to giving it a go.

I had a singer sewing machine many years ago, this new one hasn’t changed much so was easy to pick up again I like the simplicity of the machine, it dyes the job intended
The items arrived to time and were exactly as dezcribed. I have caught up with all of the families outstanding running repairs ( shortening hems, securing frayed seams etc.)and will be trying on new projects imminently. The only disappointment was I had expected a free carry case but received alternative accessories instead.
Lovely machine, so easy to set up. Didn't need the instruction booklet at all, even though I've printed it off. Smooth operation, purrs quietly as you sew. Perfect stitches which is a novelty for me as I spent years making do with my ancient machine. It's fabulous and the company are excellent to deal with too.

Just getting used to it.
I had bought a different brand before this as the hype got me but I was sorely disappointed and vey upset with it's performance, I do quite a it of sewing making various bags for sale on crafting sites to make ends meet and to keep me sane and it hasn't struggled with anything so far, fingers crossed, it is easy to use, lightweight to move around, transitions from various fabrics with ease, haven't worked much with leather which will be the big test but I printed off the full instructions and will follow them word for word for leather.
Very pleased with my purchase. Runs very smoothly and quiet. More than adequate for my needs Much improved machine to my last machine, bought 40 years ago. 😊 Love it.
Nice all round machine
Easy to set up and use by two beginner machinists.
Took a bit of time and changing of settings to get it to sew straight but now all set up it works very well. Got this to replace a 40 year old machine that gave up the ghost half way through a project. The spare feet, needles and spools will come in handy. 4 star instead of 5 because it wasn't ready straight out of the box .
