🧠 Meet the Speakers 🧠 We are excited to announce the first set of speakers for our upcoming event "AI in Life Sciences - Ethics, Diagnosis & Research" ! Daqu Zhang and Alexander Denger are researchers at Lund University working at the intersection of AI and healthcare. Daqu, a postdoc in Clinical Sciences, uses deep learning to predict early spread of cancer. Alexander, a PhD student in Computational Science, applies ML to detect skiing tumors and improve regenerative medicine for Alzheimer’s disease.  They will provide valuable insights into how AI is transforming diagnosis, research, and clinical decision-making, as well as the ethical questions this raises. His experience includes supporting BioNTech’s rapid growth and global collaboration with Pfizer during the COVID-19 pandemic, as the company transformed from a biotechnology startup into a global life science company. 🔬 Eduardo Cárdenas, PhD – Team Lead, Histology & Antibody Panel Development Moleculent AB Eduardo is an immunologist whose career has taken him across Mexico, the US, and Sweden, as well as across both academia and industry.
