We wrote about the 89% project on our package, hoping a politician would see it and read the message while shopping. Then we realised that most politicians are probably scrolling their socials while grocery shopping, so we decided to put the package in their feed as well. Hey green fans? We recently got a bit carried away in Berlin with our green Oatly Matcha and before we had chance to reply to an email, suddenly everything was green and we opened Monochrome by Oatly. A unique experience that felt a bit like something, somewhere between a shop and an installation. There were green socks, green churro candlestick holders, green toothbrushes and a green car with green flames that were all available to buy and we served Jasmine Matcha, Earl Grey Matcha and Lemongrass Matcha soda. If you didn’t make it to Berlin, we’re doing it again in London from 3rd to 15th September at Goodhood in Shoreditch. Hope you still like green!

Is it a coincidence that the collaboration between the company that made an oat drink for coffee and the company that made a coffee capsule for the oat drink made for coffee has sort of an 80s theme? That we will serve ice-cold drinks made with Oatly and Nestlé Nespresso SA , that look like they got their colours from an 1980s music video and in over 26 countries. Or that the name of the collaboration sounds like something an '80s girl group could sing, and that we’re doing it the very year Nespresso is celebrating 40 years of coffee capsules?
