TaxDome is very easy to use and keeps everything well organized in one place. All documents, tasks, and client communication are connected, which makes workflows smooth and easy to follow. It’s also very client‑friendly and makes communication clear and secure.

There never seemed to be a good flow to the processess. The pipelines were far too complicated. The reporting process was highly restrictive; doing things like printing work in process reports was not only a chore, we could never get all the information we wanted on one page. The invoices were so awful that we did not feel it would be professional to send out the invoices printed from your system. The name address would never print properly, we tried work arounds, altering information, and nothing worked worth a crap.
When it came to customer service, we were always assured we could print the reports and get the information we requested, but in practicality, we were always left wanting. Many times, we knew more than our customer service rep about the program and spent hours going through things we had already tried. When we discussed ways to improve, the things we disliked about the program, and what our internal issues were, we were never fully received. We felt like our requests went to someone's desk and died.
We have fully implemented another system and scrapped TaxDome and am much more satisfied with the other program and feel the switch was the best thing we could do. When we signed up for TaxDome, we were offered a money back guarantee if we didn't like the program. I have yet to get a representative to acknowledge that we have requested to close our account.

I just wanted to upload a simple document or switch and sort a page, but somehow Taxdome couldn't work on it lol

TaxDome has a lot of potential. Their product does a lot of things well and as good tracking features. They are definitely a work in progress though, as certain features that are standard on "legacy" products don't work great on TaxDome, like scanning and their Juno integration with Drake.
I'm also not a huge fan of their leadership. Their CEO comes off as arrogant and dismissive of customer concerns. For example, in a (largely unhelpful) zoom session on what Juno is and how it integrates with TaxDome, he seemed to dismiss customer concerns about integration as unfounded, when in reality my tax firm had to totally pivot during tax season because the integration did not work with Drake. They also offer gift cards for reviews on Trustpilot, which apparently is explicitly prohibited.
Again, there is strong potential for this company, but they need to play within industry rules--scanning features should work well in tax firms, be polite and humble with customers, and don't buy reviews when you aren't allowed to.

TaxDome has been completely revolutionary for our firm. We were able to get rid of so many different other softwares and websites and combine everything into one all inclusive system. It helps us stay on track and gave all of our client information in one place

We migrated our firm to TaxDome at the end of 2025, it has been one of the best moves our company has made. For 30 years we have been a full service accounting firm, but our systems had been holding us back. We had a portal, cloud storage, e-signatures, task list/schedule, etc. spread out over multiple platforms. There was no cohesiveness so as our employee and client count grew we reached bottlenecks and limitations. TaxDome pushed us through that and we immediately were able to service 50% more clients with the same employee headcount. I wish we had done it sooner!

It is great to hear updates on the newest features, reporting issues goes to a live person within a day and that is super helpful and time saving.

TaxDome makes it really easy to stay on track. Takes the guesswork completely out!

Training and customer support team are great.

The interface is user to use for both us and the client. It does take a while to load for us, but overall, it's a significant improvement from using a drop box type system. This one also caters to tax professionals, which makes it even better to implement into our existing procedures.

TaxDome is a impressive. Clients love the ease of uploading documents and communicating with our firm. We love the ability to automate tasks and the fact that our clients love it! When we do have an issue, the AI bot is a great tool, and the staff that further assists are great problem solvers.

TaxDome is a comprehensive tax automation/CRM system saving hours of client communications. The software automates some of the most time-consuming parts of the tax process.

They have wonderful and friendly customer service, are responsive to suggestions for improvements and have clear and honest communication when there are issues.

There is also a community of other tax professionals some of whom are expert users who share ideas and help each other. TaxDome is a large, comprehensive software focused on adding features that help tax and bookkeeping business manage and automate their workflow as well as clearly divide tasks. It does have a learning curve especially at set up and the first months of use so give your business time to learn and adjust if you choose to use this cloud-based software solution.

I’ve been part of many software rollouts, and this was one of the smoothest I’ve been involved in. TaxDome worked as expected, and their advisors were there every step of the way. In my experience, that level of support is uncommon but extremely useful. They were also readily available to help with additional questions or issues as they came up.

The client portal makes document collection and messaging so much more efficient, especially during peak tax season when things can get overwhelming. I also really like how everything is centralized, from organizers and e signatures to task tracking and pipeline management. It keeps our workflow organized and helps ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

One of the biggest benefits for us has been the automation features. Being able to set up reminders, recurring tasks, and standardized processes has saved us a lot of time and improved our turnaround times.

Taxdome is great for more of annual clients, but we are a tax firm with tax resolution and back tax and we would love to talk to somebody who can implement other ideas.

TaxDome has worked to make constant improvements and is very welcome to take criticisms and suggestions. They are very hands on and the platform has vastly improved since we first started using it. We use TaxDome in every department and all aspects of our business and our clients seem very happy with using it to upload documents and send messages to us. After sending a message to TaxDome programmers about a issue my department had been having in navigating the website, I received a response almost immediately asking what was happening and how it would work better for us. They really cared and made changes that helped us work more efficiently. TaxDome has grown to be a great tool for our company.

I love how taxdome has reps that can help you make your pipelines more efficient. The automation features are amazing and cuts my time reaching out to CL in half.
