Functional - it works but is very old school and needs several updates in functionality. Support and backup is not great - will be looking to switch platforms when we have the opportunity.

I am a long term user of Reckon Accounts Personal Plus and find the product superior against a number of your competitors for personal finance.

It would be a perfect product if Reckon be accessible via an on-line web based software platform rather than having to be loaded on a single desktop. The current desktop only access prohibits us from accessing our software and data when we are travelling or away from our desktop. And in todays world, everything is web based. Please keep up Reckon.
Or, is there a web based Reckon product that supports investment share tracking and bank transactions similar to Reckon Accounts Personal Plus?
Look forward to Reckons update on going web based for Peronal Plus.

Secondly, feel that we are not getting any upgrades to the product for our annual fee and are locked into the annual subscription with our own data being held to ransom for an annual fee.

Technical support was very knowledgeable, easy to deal with and patiently worked through my problems

Happily used the old system for years, and currently only for Reconciliation. Told I had to upgrade to cloud base system. I stressed it needed to be the same as what I had been using. Well it wasn't. The data migration was not successful, and trying to work using reconciliation,nothing like it had been. On 3 occasions I requested cancellation. They, I guess from India call centre just ignore you. While trying to access it, my old subscription was still current. No response so I disputed the transaction with the bank. Now they reply that I accessed the system,last 10th July. Now any intelligent person know access and using are two completely different things. I will keep fighting them, but be aware as they take credit card details before you can even look at the upgrade. Would not recommend them unless you can use all the accounting components.

We are long term users. The annual renewal of license has resulted in ‘upgrades’ that have made the system sooooo slow. Our sole operator business does not need all that is on offer- yet we are not able to scale down. We have found the support unhelpful - it’s not our computer, or our router. We suspect ‘enshitification’ and are really disappointed. We also feel locked in/ trapped as if our own data is being held to ransom for an annual fee.

The technical representative Reeta is extremely supportive. She was patient to help me solve the issue. I don't know what to do without her!

I am trying to migrate from Reckon Account Hosted to Reckon One. My experience has been an absolute nightmare. In order to work on the migration I need to leave my shop and go to the office. I give the onboarding team a time and they don't call me back. when they call they call me on time when I am working and cannot take the call. Sometimes the phone does two rings and they close and live a message. When I try to contact the lady form the onboarding team they don.t transfer the call. Yesterday, 16th of July, she called when I was busy with customers. Her name is Baby. She promised to call me back at 4pm. I left the shop, went home to my office and she didn't call. I sent several messages to Santiago from the sales and he didn't reply. I need to connect our account, complete the reconciliation and get our accountant connected for lodging the BAS. I have been with account hosted for over 20 years. I was suggested to migrate to reckon one to facilitate the new lodging of the super reports. It has been an absolute nightmare. It was supposed to be easy and straight forward and it is not. Think twice before choosing reckon over Myob or Xero.

absolutely horrible customer service. I really tried to be patient and give it a go. I was trying to figure out why my software just denied me access. and the lady made me download some sketchy software no one's ever heard of, to take complete control of my computer. And then she started doing things on the reckon website, but she looked like she had no idea what she was doing AT ALL. I asked her questions, which she just ignored and continued talking about hot to use the payroll software. and then after asking multiple times and a 40 minute call, I got frustrated with her and told her strongly what feature I am looking for - for my employees to be able to submit their own hours for their own timesheets - and she said "oh no we don't have that". A 40 MINUTE CALL TO ANSWER ONE SINGLE STUPID QUESTION. WHY COULDN'T SHE SAY THAT IN THE BEGINNING. THAT'S ALL I WANTED!!!
You can also barely understand what the foreign lady is saying! Horrible service!

MJ in particular was very helpful and tolerant.

After sales service is exceptional. This company is one of the very few that one is able to talk to a human being over the phone. This is what this product offers. The customer service team are friendly,efficient and very knowledgeable.

Worst customer service and technical support (all offshore) I have experienced in 40 years of dealing with businesses. Avoid Reckon like RSV. One star is flattering. The only reason I haven't given zero is because the feedback form doesn't allow it. Awful.

I change from a Desktop version of Rekon to Reckon One.
They said my data would be transferred over in a migration process.
Two months later it's still not correct. Emails as phone calls haven't got any results and even when I point out that balances are incorrect, they have done nothing.
What customer service????
