I felt I had to leave a positive review here, as I had accidentally purchased a yearly subscription, yesterday (really wanted monthly) and they have immediately refunded my US$288 today, after business hours had resumed in Singapore, ...along with a friendly email explaining what had happened and how to avoid it in the future. Billing support doesn't get any better than this.
But then again, I had provided my account-ID and transaction-ID in my original (friendly) cancellation email. Maybe these things do make a difference, after all !? 😉
I also had done my own research beforehand, and I'm happy to report: PixVerse is definitely NOT a "scam"! They are a huge operation with 2 very publicly known founders, around 100 employees and ~ US$ 350 million funding.

Un rapport qualité/prix très décevant
PixVerse peut donner une première impression assez professionnelle, mais dès qu’on se lance dans un véritable projet vidéo, on découvre rapidement ses nombreuses lacunes.
À la première connexion, des crédits gratuits sont proposés, mais ne vous y trompez pas : ils disparaissent à une vitesse impressionnante. Les crédits gratuits permettent à peine de générer quelques secondes d’une vidéo très moyenne. Il faut donc rapidement passer à la caisse.
De mon côté, j’ai pris le premier forfait Standard à environ 10 € par mois, avec 1 200 crédits. Mais là encore, attention : les crédits sont consommés pour un oui ou pour un non. Même poser une question à l’IA peut vous coûter des crédits, alors qu’aucune vidéo n’a été créée !
Après avoir préparé un prompt précis, PixVerse génère des séquences de seulement quelques secondes. Au final, avec mon forfait de 1 200 crédits, je n’ai réussi à produire qu’une vidéo animée d’environ 1 minute, et encore, le résultat était loin d’être abouti : les paroles ne correspondaient pas correctement aux images.
Et lorsque vous demandez une correction, de nouveaux crédits sont consommés… encore et encore.
En résumé : environ 10 € dépensés pour seulement 1 minute de vidéo animée, qui reste malgré tout imparfaite.
Pour moi, le rapport qualité/prix est clairement mauvais. PixVerse peut être intéressant pour faire quelques essais ou découvrir la génération vidéo par IA, mais pour réaliser un véritable projet vidéo, la consommation de crédits est beaucoup trop importante et le résultat pas suffisamment fiable.

Have continued to try to charge a credit card which I had to cancel because they wouldn't stop it even though I cancelled the subscription. I get an email every couple of days saying they can't charge that card. Of course they can't....I had the bank shut it down!!!
RUN! Don't walk....RUN as fast as you can from this scam of a company. I'm asking my bank to begin fraud investigations against them. This has gone on for two months now.

Die App hat mal wirklich Spaß gemacht. Jetzt frustriert sie nur noch. Ich bekomme keine täglichen Gratiscredits mehr fürs Einloggen, obwohl immer noch mit 60 Credits pro Tag geworben wird. Man muss also sinnlose Werbespots über sich ergehen lassen, um überhaupt was tun zu können. Die sind teilweise sehr aggressiv, blockieren das Handy für mehrere Minuten. Und oft bekomme ich für den davon bezahlten 10-Sekunden-Clip nur 4 Sekunden. Wenn überhaupt. Sehr oft erscheint beim hochgeladen Bild "Fehler" oder das generierte Video wird nicht gezeigt. Schade!!!

I had discovered a discrepancy that meant the companies app and website charged different prices for the product I use. Eg seedance 2 standard app 300 credits website 180 credits. This has cost me in one month in excess of 3000 credits.
The companies "good will" gesture was 800 credits despite a written admission that the advertised discounts for seedance only work on the website, that they are aware of it and seemingly don't care to advertise the fact clearly.
They clearly push the app but it is broken and costing their customers money.

Hello, we understand why discovering the lower website rate after completing many generations through the app was frustrating. From your perspective, you missed an opportunity to save credits.
To clarify what happened, the 180-credit rate was a temporary Seedance 2.0 promotion offered exclusively on the website. It was not the regular price of the generation. The app and website follow separate pricing and promotional arrangements, so the app continued to use the regular 300-credit rate during this period. The website offer was open to any PixVerse user who chose to generate there; without that limited-time offer, the normal credit consumption would have remained the same as in the app.
Promotions are generally announced on the platform where they can be used. Since there was no corresponding promotion in the app, a separate in-app notice was not provided. That said, we understand that users who mainly create through the app may not have been aware of the website offer. We will take this experience into account and consider how cross-platform promotions can be communicated more clearly in the future.

When I emailed support about the discrepancy they shrugged it off not even caring that they had robbed me of about 1000 credits because I used the app they pushed.
The videos you can create are okay but customer service is garbage. They don't care, they don't communicate.

Ich habe das Elite Abo abgeschlossen und erhalte die vereinbarten Credits nicht. die noch nicht aufgebrauchten wurden gestrichen. jetzt gibt esnur noch 30 pro Tag, schlechter als ohne Abo (60 pro Tag). das Eliteabo ist nicht mehr aufrufbar. wird gekündigt, notfalls noch der Verbraucherschutz und Anwalt eingeschaltet. Bin froh, dass das Lehrgeld "nur" 40 Euro waren.

PixVerse consistently ruins your shots by randomly introducing movements or actions that, in your wildest imagination, you would not expect. Their prompting guide, which I stumbled upon, tells users to let the image to speak for itself and not to over describe that is in the image. Well. Consistently the output video will change morph or disrupt a perfectly good image, making it nearly the opposite of what you have asked for. I have ran gens and have had 20 to 30 outputs that were completely unusable. They have so much potential but...it is crap. C1 and V6 alike.

The model seems to only be good at creating garbage and slop. The prompt modification is costly and does not work properly. The cancellation of subscription is not straight forward and hints at a shaddy practice. This is way too expensive for the service it provides and the general output quality. If you want to cancel, you need to downgrade to basic plan. This is twisted unclear and confusing.

Peu adapté aux prompts précis
Si vous lui laissez la liberté, il vous fera des choses incroyables, mais si vous devez respecter un script précis (créé avec une IA pour être précis), 80% de vos essais finiront à la corbeille. Quand vous demandez un plan fixe sans zoom par exemple (pour incruster un personnage sur fond vert) il ne comprend rien et n'en fait qu'à sa tête.
Au final, je ne fais que gaspiller des crédits et aucun support de leur part.

From the worst to the best
I get mad with this AI and for sure I will never pay to use it. The results are not consistent. It can make incredible videos but most of the time, the AI doesn't understand the most basic prompt (even those made with AI especially for Pixverse). I keep wasting free credits. I get only 20% of good results, much below others AI.

The fact that the sixth frame went wrong is your fault, and it cost me so many credits. I had 600 credits to start with, but I lost over half of them arguing with the Agent. He seems to be programmed to "steal" credits, saying I don't have enough. I'm filing a complaint against this site and giving it a very negative review on all forums.

Regarding Agent credit consumption, Agent may require significantly more credits than standard generation because it processes your request, visual information, project context, and conversation history. Longer conversations can increase token usage and credit cost.
If you want better control over credit usage, we recommend using the standard Text-to-Video or Image-to-Video modes.

Scammers
Really good for free generations, However, I feel like the platform scams me out of credits by doing the most dumb generations, totally ignoring the prompt, even if I now provide the scene image, it must be on purpose or AI is Dumb, non intelligent. Then the option is there to download although it won't allow it from cell phones, and along with Google, will block you from downloading externally. Rubbish behaviour.
