I’ve been using Peak Supps HydroBEEF…
I’ve been using Peak Supps HydroBEEF Grass Fed Beef Protein Isolate and I would definitely give it five stars. You definitely need a blender to mix it properly though — you’re not going to mix this with a fork in a glass!
I use the unflavoured one and I think it’s the best-tasting beef protein I’ve tried. It does have a very mild beef taste, but nothing unpleasant, and I haven’t tried any of the flavoured versions yet.
The biggest thing for me is how well it agrees with my stomach. It doesn’t give me wind, make my farts smell, give me a sore stomach or leave me feeling bloated like some protein powders can.
I also really like that the unflavoured version is simply grass-fed beef protein isolate, without loads of preservatives, sweeteners or other unnecessary crap added to it.
I wasn’t sure about the collagen content because it doesn’t actually say it on my bag, but I looked into it with ChatGPT and Peak Supps describe HydroBEEF as being approximately 80% collagen, predominantly Type I with smaller amounts of Types II and III.
Great protein, easy on my stomach and definitely 5 stars from me.

Great choice of vegan proteins with plenty of different flavour options, great that there is an option for stevia instead of other less healthy sweeteners. Easy to navigate website and easy to set up a subscription (which is a great idea as most people are regular consumers if they buy protein powder). Excellent idea to have sample sizes available. Kept informed via email each month re payments taken and dispatch etc. Highly recommend. Oh and nearly forgot the powder tastes good as well, I tried the rice, soy chocolate stevia and settled on the pea and hemp choc stevia. Blends well and no bitterness from the hemp which has been a problem for me before with another brand.
