Payroll isn't simple -- plenty of restrictions and compliance issues. Not easy to get started. Stephani was super-patient and responsive. I'm looking forward to working with SurePayroll for many years.

I thought the payroll process will be very difficult, but when my friend Elodia Ramirez, recommended Sure Payroll, I see that is very easy to do my payroll.

I had a very disappointing experience with SurePayroll.

I stopped running payroll over a year ago and genuinely believed my account was no longer active. Unfortunately, I continued to be charged without realizing it. When I discovered the issue, I contacted customer service hoping they would work with me on a fair resolution, especially since no payrolls had been processed during that time.

Instead, I was offered only a partial refund, despite the fact that I hadn't used the service. I understand companies have policies, but there should also be room for common-sense customer service when a long-time customer makes an honest mistake and receives no benefit from the service.

The experience left me feeling like customer retention and fairness were less important than enforcing policy. I expected a company that handles payroll to stand behind its customers and show more flexibility in resolving situations like this.

Based on my experience, I would encourage others to carefully monitor their account status and billing, and to make sure they explicitly close their account if they no longer need the service.

SurePR is a great low cost solution for simple PR clients. I have moved many of my clients to SurePR for this reason. Most PRs are not complicated, so why pay a lot of money for simple PR runs?

This is THE WORST payroll company I’ve ever used. Not only did they not pay me 3 different times on the Fridays I was supposed to be paid - their costumer service doesn’t help employees just EMPLOYERS! They NEVER verified my username so I was locked out of my account every time I tried to log in but I’m an employee so there is nothing they can do to help me??? Insane! We are switching platforms because yall are JANKY and have made me CRY from the frustration of not getting my money.

We just moved to SurePayroll from ADP and it's been a nightmare. My finance director has spent countless hours trying to work through the mistakes they made and when payroll finally did run for the first time it was full of errors. The problems are still not resolved and it's costing me money and time.

Charged me for services that I wasn't using for over a year and half. Thought I had cancelled multiple times. Left message on their site saying I wanted service cancelled, no response, talked to customer service, followed their chat instructions and came to a page that said Sorry to See you Go and had some informational numbers if you had questions or needed services in the future. Thought that took care of it, but they continued billing. Apparently there is a sentence in tiny writing that you have to press again to cancel (even though you made that choice on multiple screens before), I feel it is a misleading format at best, deceptive at worst. It is astonishing to me that I have talked to individuals on the phone to cancel, left messages on their site, talked with their chatbot, and there is conveniently NO record of any of this! It is also very puzzling why they renewed the yearly subscription when I had not used the service for over a year at that point. Instead of sending notices of renewal or service would be canceled they just kept billing. I was self pay for taxes, so there was no pending taxes they had to pay or any justifiable reason for continuing the subscription. They were very vigilant when selling the service, but they sure don't want to let you go or refund anything to you even though no services were used. They still felt just fine about keeping all the money they didn't earn. That is dishonesty to me.

Easy to set up and start processing payroll. The Sure Payroll team reached out and offered guidance right away, even though it was very intuitive and easy to get things set up on my own. I was able to process that week and get my employees paid timely and accurately.

They answer my questions and addresses my concerns on a timely basis.

These people are crooks. Somebody hacked my business account with them and rerouted my employees pay. I've tried 4 times to get my funds back and no help. They didn't even contact us as the employer to try to resolve the issue. This was the second time this happened with them. Again Noone from Sure payroll reached out. They are crooks. Run, run, 🏃‍♂️. Run to ADP they are far more professional and responsible. I would never recommend Sure payroll to anyone.

They didn't file our federal taxes....we used them for only 6 months and started to notice they aren't very up to par compared to other providers. After receiving a $1k bill from the IRS they tried to tell us it was our responsibility to pay taxes.... absolutely horrendous service.

Quick at answering the question that I had. Very easy to do my payroll for a small business.

You better hope your problem occurs during their business hours, because if you need immediate help you won't get it. Today they froze my account with no notice, when I went to run payroll I was told it was a banking error on my end. They gave me NO notice about this, rep even said they didn't email me or anything. Then she says she has to unlock my account for me to update it, and she'll email me once it is. Mind you this is my day to run payroll so my employees get paid on time. They're THE WORST, this is the last time I'm doing this with this company, changing payroll companies next week.

My experience with SurePayroll was very disappointing. From the beginning, it felt like the focus was more on selling the product than properly reviewing and verifying the required documentation upfront. After I had already moved forward with the service, my account was flagged and then terminated without a clear explanation or proper communication about the reason.

This caused unnecessary disruption and stress, especially because payroll services require reliability, transparency, and trust. Instead of helping resolve the issue or clearly explaining what documentation was supposedly missing or unacceptable, the process felt abrupt and unprofessional.

Because of this experience, I had no choice but to switch to a more reliable payroll provider that communicates clearly and properly vets customers before onboarding them. I would not recommend SurePayroll to anyone looking for dependable payroll support, especially if clear communication and account stability are important to your business.
