It's a perfectly legal accrual scam
They bet on attrition caused by normal life circumstances and human error. Their terms that put you in the hotseat to do everything perfectly or they refuse to do anything. Everything is set up so that you mess up and miss deadlines hidden in fine print. I had a test that was recalled, and it was beyond the refund period, and they never sent the replacement. One of my tests was cancelled with no reason given. They don't provide reminders or any kind of notifications to help you get the service you paid a lot of money for. It's a legal scam. My mother is dying and I have been traveling back and forth between America and Europe for the last 11 months, never had time to have the perfect circumstances for the tests AND be at home to wait for a courier to arrive to pick up the package the next day (ONLY ON A MONDAY OR TUESDAY!). Got everything ready to take the tests, the tracking numbers are no longer accepted. Leave tomorrow again for a month. I now have around 500EUR in tests I cannot submit, money down the drain. Thanks for reaming me with a 10 foot pole, appreciate it. GFY.

We’re very sorry to read about your experience, and we’re also very sorry to hear about your mother and the amount of travelling you’ve had to manage.
What you describe regarding our process does not sound right, and we would genuinely like to investigate what has happened with your orders.
We do not hide our turnaround times or sampling requirements in fine print. The estimated result time and relevant sampling information are displayed on the product pages. Once a Test ID is registered and a sample is returned, customers receive email and/or SMS updates at several stages, including when the test is registered, when we receive the sample, when it reaches the laboratory and information regarding the expected analysis time. We also send follow-up notifications in certain situations, for example if a registered sample has not reached us within the expected period.
If you have not been receiving these notifications, we would be very happy to look into this with you and check why, including making sure that the email address and phone number connected to your account are correct.
Regarding the test you mentioned was cancelled without a reason, there will always be a reason why a laboratory is unable to complete an analysis and we always write it in the email when we contact a customer about this. For example, there may have been insufficient sample material, the sample may have been haemolysed, or there may have been an issue with the sample collection.
If you contact us, we can check that specific test and explain further exactly what happened. If you would like more detailed information, we can also contact the laboratory on your behalf and ask for further clarification. If the problem was related to the sample collection, such as not collecting enough blood, we are also happy to provide tips to make it easier next time.
Regarding posting on Mondays or Tuesdays, this is a recommendation to protect the sample, not an attempt to prevent customers from returning their tests. We recommend these days to reduce the risk of samples being held by the carrier over a weekend and becoming too old before reaching the laboratory. Some customers still send later in the week which is usually fine but we strongly recommend sending in the beginning of the week to keep the sample quality as high as possible.
Return tracking labels are normally valid for months. If a return label has expired or is no longer accepted, please contact us. We can always arrange a new valid return label free of charge, so this should not leave you with tests that you are unable to return.
If circumstances mean that a test genuinely cannot be used, or something has gone wrong with the kit, shipment or analysis, we can also review the order and refund the analysis cost. We certainly do not want you to simply lose approximately €500 because of issues that we can help with resolving.
At the moment, however, your review does not contain an order number, Test ID or other information that allows us to identify your order and investigate what happened. We have therefore also requested further information privately through Trustpilot.
Please contact us at hello@gettested.io or through the chat on our website and provide your order number, Test ID or the email address connected to your orders. We can then look at each issue individually.
We take the description of GetTested as a scam seriously, as this does not reflect how our service works. Many of the issues you describe are things we can investigate and resolve, but we need a way to identify your orders first.

My parcel never arrived
My parcel never arrived. Blown in the wind in germany. Left bochum on the 3th and since then not possible to retrace it. No information?!! Had to be delivered on the 3th september.
Dhl unreliable
And gettested sends me back to dhl where the chat tells me it's on my way.
I bought it on the 27th august 2026.

I would recommend avoiding this company.
I got the following message from trust pilot as I searched this company to leave a review..
This company has been displaying Trustpilot content incorrectly.
This could look like showing an inaccurate star rating in sales materials, displaying reviews they’re not permitted to use on their site, and more.
This is a good reflection of the company.
Customer service is mostly an ai bot, which is useless. So, if you have a problem on a Friday for example, it will be Tuesday before a human gets back to you.
The first test i did was void as it came back as a faulty reading, even though I followed the instructions perfectly. This was the blood type test.
I'm now told im waiting 11-18 working days for the results of a second test. This was the free Testosterone test.
I sent the same test off with a different company for a second opinion and had my results within 3 days. 11-18 days is not good enough in 2026. There is no prior warning of this before purchase.
I still have two other tests to send off as I bought bulk, so will update on these, too.

Our AI assistant is designed to answer common questions using our support articles, and customers can request human assistance at any time. Our human support team works Monday to Friday, with a response time of 1–2 business days. These are fairly standard customer service opening hours, as our support team also needs time off at weekends. We always aim to respond sooner, although more complex cases can take additional time.
We’re also sorry that the blood type test did not produce a valid reading despite you following the instructions. Unfortunately, blood-based tests can occasionally fail due to factors such as the sample volume or quality.
Our laboratory result time is approximately 10–15 business days after the sample reaches the laboratory. This timeframe is shown on the relevant product page before purchase. It includes transportation, laboratory processing and quality checks. We understand that faster results may be preferable, but we prioritise completing the necessary checks before issuing a report.
