I make no claims to be the most technical person around, but I am qualified in programming, have a degree in cyber security, I know my way around modern day technology, but I am very quickly very disappointed in azire, I bought a subscription in what was billed as privacy respecting, port forward friendly, customizable VPN, a combination that in 2026 fewer than 4 companies globally can claim. However both the auto setup via router built in vpn management and the needlessly convuluted manual LuCi + api configuration failed to forward a single port or maintain reasonable speeds.

VPN Dashboard:
I have a flint 2 router, it has vpn's integrated, including a dashboard allowing you to log in to your azire account directly and access different servers, nice and convenient right? It would be if it worked, but if you connect this way
- your speed tanks 500Mbps down dropped to 2Mbps and that's me being generous because it's actually so slow it took multiple attempts just to run the test
- port forwarding does not work, no matter you do regarding router firewalls, system firewalls, LuCi port forward rules, it will not work
-In LuCi> network>interfaces you cannot interact with the generated "wgclient" meaning you can't change dns provider, toggle mss clamping or masquerading, can't alter MTU. Any one of which can render the connection ineffective

Manual Creation:
I followed their guide for getting set up on OpenWrt, followed the instructions verbatim and had vpn connectivity, nice, some progress, or so I thought
I then followed their guide section about api use
Ran api to open a port, 54268
Ran api to see if any ports showed as forwarded, it confirmed 54268
Ran api to test port forwarding "port is closed"
Ran api to see any ports forwarded out of curiosity, the exact same curl i ran before, now returns
"status error"
"message not found" nice and empty, unhelpful return

Started over, ran api to open a port,55761
Ran api to see any forwarded ports, it confirmed 55761
Ran api to test port forward , "port closed"
Used 3rd party tools like yougetsignal and a ubuntu iso torrent, results and 0b uploads on a very active torrent cemented that the port forwarding is not working.

I was hoping it was human error, maybe i mistyped a digit or accidentally pressed space or missed a toggle option somewhere in LuCi 50 submenu's, but no. I am stubborn and on a seeming unicorn hunt to find a decent vpn with port forwarding, so I repeated the above no fewer than 10 times, resetting my router then doing multiple attempts trusting flint 2 vpn dashboard with built in azire log in and multiple attempts following the azirevpn guide to setup on OpenWrt and unfortunately had no success, either with hitting speeds more than 10% of what i get without vpn or having an open port

As far as I know, AzireVPN is the only real VPN provider with 100% privacy protection, as they own their own servers and not installing any disk on the servers. And all of their servers are using at least 10gbps interface and IPv6 ready.

Servers are very fast, no issue with this. But not very suitable for torrenting / P2P. You have to generate and set a new port forwarding every time you log out. Not possible to configure a Gluetun container with their .conf files.
If you need for browsing purpose it's pretty good and price is acceptable.

Good, but missing:

- double hop
-split tunnelling on windows
-dns filtering ads and malware!!
- speeds average, but okay.
- Disconnecting too often probably because I'm using 3rd party dns for filtering (hate ads, and this keept me away from this vpn)

But I'm supporting them, as I like idea and going to support them monthly with my subscription.

The Android app is not available in Japanese, so it's hard to understand. I hope you'll consider making it available in Japanese. I think you still have a lot of potential as a company, so please keep up the good work.

I've been a customer of AzireVPN for 5 years, and throughout that time, they have consistently provided high-quality service with low latency and fast speeds. I truly appreciate their transparency and direct communication with the public. It's rare to find a VPN service where the servers are fully owned, rather than rented or run in a virtual environment. A great service to the Azire Family.

Simple and works.
AzireVPN's support for IPv6 sets it apart from many of the big name VPN providers. Unfortunately, it seems that many of these other providers are more invested in massive marketing campaigns rather than offering a quality, top notch product.
I also like that AzireVPN doesn't try to download a bunch of bloatware (e.g., password managers, etc. etc.).
Hoping that AzireVPN's commitment to privacy, security, and a top notch product isn't compromised by its acquisition by Malwarebytes.

Good: Speed with wireguard protocol is okay. They provided a script to download wireguard configuration automatically, no difficulty on connecting to the server. There is socks5 relay service.

Bad: I failed to create port forwarding. So considering the price (7 USD per month for 3 months plan), I decided to refund and changed to another provider.

Good: Simple, clean interface, supports wireguard, reasonably priced.

bad: poor server location coverage, leaks getting picked up by geolocation, refunds policy not covered if you have signed up for a month and its not clear on the "7 day refund policy" apart from T&Cs, poor support options.

update - your terms on your website:

What you have clarified in your response is not what your terms on your website say, so please be consistent. All you have to say is "7 days money back guarantee with the exception of crypto payments" as simple as that.

You neither have a number to call or ability to open a real time chat, most folks don't care about social media and email interaction, they want real time interaction which you don't have/

Simple, easy to use and actually private. Only real issue is lack of servers compared to other brands, but that seems to be changing recently so Ill stick with them as long as they don't go corrupt like other brands...

Perhaps under normal circumstances, Azirevpn is a great VPN. However, my experience with them in regard to merely trying to pay via PayPal has been very poor.

Apparently, if they allegedly don't receive your payment via Paypal (even though I've provided evidence the payment was made to PayPal and Paypal themselves confirms the payment was successful), their attitude is to act as if you didn't pay; despite that this really should be an issue between them and PayPal, not me.

Their customer service is curt, flippant, slow, and unresponsive. Two emails have been ignored, and I had to threaten to get PayPal involved to speed things up if the situation wouldn't be remedied that week (since I made the payment during Black Friday and I still didn't have access two weeks later), only for them to refund me instead of just providing me with access to their service. And of course, without any apology whatsoever. One might wonder how they were able to refund me if they didn't get the payment...

The argument could be made that PayPal is bad to begin with. Be that as it may, it is ultimately AzireVPN's choice to allow PayPal as a payment option.

Used this vpn for a year now and really like it. speeds are generally ok, phone app is excellent, pc app is ok (Would be great if it would logon automatically without having to enter the password)

Been using Azire for the past year, never any issues. Super solid service for a good price.

Being a VPN coming from one of the freest countries when it comes to online privacy is one of the main reasons I went with AzireVPN and I haven't been disappointed since.
