The member of staff was helpful but the time waiting for the call to be answered was too long.

I received an email advising that my bonus rate was about to expire and suggested I review my options.
I did so and decided to open another account. As an existing account holder I was able to complete the whole process in approximately 10 minutes.

I was trying to open a business savings account. They needed all Directors to individually complete identity verification, even if they have no authority over banking access. But their system was terrible to use and their portal did not accurately show progress. They were unable to accept all the Know Your Customer documents I keep of file. Wasted 4 months of my time going back and forth. Absolutely avoid them if you have more that 2-3 Directors in your company and are seeking a business savings account.

I sent money to the wrong account so asked for it to be sorted by leaving a message online. As it stated up to 3 days for a reply I phoned and it was sorted the same day.

The agent I spoke to was extremely helpful, patient and professional. He handled a difficult and complex query with good humour and empathy - thoroughly recommend Cynergy based on my experience.

One of the few banks that has good interest rates but a real person to talk to on the phone with a clear phone line! Added to that, a decent and much improved app from when I first joined the bank in 2023. No issues, helpful staff. I am nervous about joining new banks but I trust this one.

Opening a new instant access savings account and transferring my existing account funds was very easy to do online. You have to keep transferring to the newest accounts to get the best interest rates. Cynergy Bank offer excellent interest rates and their online accounts are easy to transfer money into and out off.

Not happy. Cynergy, in your application you boast faster payments. Do you actually know what this means?. I have transferred money via my Lloyds bank faster payments, and payments sent and received have generally taken the next day!
DON'T ADVERTISE IT IF YOU DON'T PROVIDE IT.

We've had accounts with Cynergy for a few years now. They make it very easy to open accounts, are very good at advising when we could get better rates on interest and make it simple to move money between accounts. We've been very happy with Cynergy Bank.

Easy account to set up, good rates, and in the account you can see your running total of interest added most days

Easy to open and start ISA transfer, although a quick call to customer services as the old ISA company wasn't listed in drop-down list as I thought it would show.

Only thing I would comment is not explaining that you can download the app, BUT you have to wait for a user I/d number.
After phone calls to customer services, they told me the user I/d will not be issued until account open/funds received.
This needs to be added on the emails to stop confusion.

Opened a new online easy access account via the app and the process was quick and simple.
