Not good. Firstly we have travelled with Jet2 many times without any problems and would recommend the company. The holiday booking, insurance, taxi transfers, Jet2 app and contact details are all consistently very good. We also love Portugal and have stayed at the Dom Pedro Villamoura at least 6 times over the years. The room was of a good standard and the maid did clean the room well. On the second and third night of 9 nights I noticed a small spot of blood on the clean bedsheet. I thought it was my fault and I had scratched my leg. Later during our stay, we both noticed small black insects in the bed and on the headboard. We didn’t know what these were and brushed them off. The day we came home I was covered in red itchy spots and my wife broke out in similar spots the next day. We were very itchy and uncomfortable and on researching the insects – as I had taken a picture (and video), learned they were bed bugs and we had both been bitten many times. It is a week since our holiday and we are still suffering badly from the itchy spots on arms, legs and face and taking anti histamines and gel rubs which is helping.
We will book again with Jet2 but unfortunately, we will not be back in this hotel.

We used the Dom Pedro golf course (Pinhal) today paid my green fees and arrived at the 1st tee with my clubs on my push trolley. The starter told me I could not use my own personal push trolley and I was forced to rent a ride on buggy. This is Dom Pedro group trying to make extra money out of golfers during Covid 19. This is wrong and using my own equipment is safer rather than force me to use rental equipment. This is the only hotel/golf chain in the Algarve that forces golfers to rent equipment where they previously pre-covid 19 didn't. This is unfair and contrary to recommendation to use your own equipment to avoid infection with covid 19. The Dom Pedro Hotel Group is well known for their golfing packages however this practice is unfair and is ripping off golfers and you won't know about it until you turn up at the tee. Think before you book a Dom Pedro Golf holiday there are more ethical hotel groups out there,
