Verás una cola de 3m a 50m
Deseo aclarar que la ley en Azores prohíbe acercarse a las ballenas, debes permanecer a 50 metros o más, entonces no ves absolutamente nada salvo una columna de vapor del tamaño de los números de tu reloj analógico o una cola del tamaño de la punta de un grano de arroz, nunca me sentí tan timado, esto vale para cualquier empresa de avistamiento de ballenas, todas son iguales

Amazing experience can only recommend…
Amazing experience can only recommend you will not regret. Guys are professional and respectful towards animals. We had great guides , special thanks to Savi and Monisha for doing such an awesome job!

Fantástica experiencia
Vimos muchos delfines y varios cachalotes. También rodeamos al final la isla de Villafranca. El paseo fue una delicia. El piloto y la bióloga guía de diez. Colaboran en proyectos de investigación y se nota el respeto y amor por los animales. Una fantástica experiencia.

We had a fantastic time
We had a fantastic time. Alex was fantastic and she was so enthusiastic. We loved the boat and its speed . Being out in the open ocean with the sun and blue skies. We saw a sperm whale and dolphins. It was magical

Exiting to be on such a fast boat and to see so much dolphins!
People of TERRA AZUL were very nice and clearly very enthousiastic about their work.

Fun experience
Fun experience. Highly reccomended for whale and dolphin lovers. Not reccomended if you seasick easily.

Thank you for your visit and your feedback. We're sorry you were unlucky not to see Whales :/
Although in the Azores Islands there are 4 resident cetacean species (including Sperm Whales), and 20 more (up to a third of the world's known) passing by throughout the year, unfortunately, as in any wildlife tour, it is not possible to guarantee that we will see specifically Whales, or any specific species at a specific time frame. We only go out when there is good chance for sightings, but even with fast Zodiac boats and our Whale lookouts placed high inland, our friends move fast and it is not uncommon for them to dive and disappear into the deep Ocean.
We hope you can understand this reasoning and verify the reviews and comments from other visitors, to revise your review to a higher star rating for our service quality.
We wish you can come back for another tour, hopefully with better luck to see whales! :)
Beautiful day on the ocean
We visited San Miguel last fall and enjoyed a wonderful excursion with Terra Azul. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The hosts are extremely knowledgeable and truly care about our oceans and the beautiful creatures that live in it.
