I think GPM is really a super good idea. Hiring someone who knows very well about playlist placements and searches for you for a price that is actually lower than searching yourself makes a lot of sense, especially because you often pay to get rejected when you haven’t targeted the right playlists.
I decided to give it a chance, and it went well. I got 750 streams within one month when I had nearly zero before for 59 USD.
Noah was very present and supportive.
The only anxiety I had was seeing 350 playlist ads for only 500 listeners, playlists that I knew nothing about because they didn’t appear on the list.
I got 6 or 7 playlists, which is great. SubmitHub flagged them as unsafe or payola. I understand that the reason is that, if GPM owns or controls these playlists, then from SubmitHub’s point of view it is pay-for-placement.
If the playlists belong to GPM or are part of its own network, I think this should simply be transparent. I would rather know exactly where my song is being placed and whether the playlists are owned or controlled by GPM.
What I didn’t like is that SubmitHub was able to immediately see that my playlists were coming from GPM. It is a little annoying because it means I have to pay someone to get into playlists, and I think it should be a little more discreet.
I got an amazing playlist through SubmitHub that brought me nearly 10,000 streams for $2, so I really don’t want to upset SubmitHub. At the same time, SubmitHub also flagged as “unsure” a perfectly legitimate playlist I got for another song, so I’m not sure these flags always tell the whole story.
I really liked the idea of GPM. I think it should just be reoriented a little, with more transparency about the playlists being used and how they are selected. If the playlists are owned or controlled by GPM, I think people should simply be told that upfront.
I see additional play listing and streams. Would like to see additional data on your end. Maybe there is a dashboard.
I reached a lot more listeners within just a few days, really satisfied with the promotion.
I'm seeing about 40-60 new listeners per day, my songs are getting added to playlists and saved from listeners. The data in my Spotify for artists is showing me the songs are being played worldwide. I think the value of the campaign has been well worth it.
I rarely leave bad reviews on Trustpilot. In fact, this is my first one. Usually, I only do it when a company really pisses me off. I came across GPM Music Group through their ads and saw people commenting about how great they were. I had stopped using playlist-promotion agencies because, in my experience, they often make big promises. I also checked the negative Trustpilot reviews, but decided to give them a chance.
I booked the 2 + 1 package (promote two songs and get one free), the Breakout package, advertised with an estimated 2,000–6,000 streams, for $175.
Order #19689
My songs were added to eight playlists with names like 80s Vibes and Feels Like 90s. The selection seemed pretty random, but I thought, Okay, maybe they have active listeners.
After 28 days, the streams I received from the playlists were:
352
335
157
GPM Music Group says:
“We provide estimated stream ranges for each campaign tier, based on past data.”
Fair enough - I’m not expecting an exact number. But if the estimated minimum for my package is 2,000 streams, then 157 streams is less than 8% of the minimum. You do the math. My campaign is now over, and my songs have been removed from the playlists. I paid for playlist promotion and, based on my experience, the results were nowhere close to what was advertised.
Be transparent about what you're selling to independent artists. We're already putting our own money into our music, and the last thing we need is another company selling us “hope”. They also promote themselves as “from artists to artists.” Unfortunately, my experience didn't feel that way. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service

So far so good. Definitely more streams, but not a lot of streams per listener. Snd haven’t received any new followers. But over all pleased. Hope none are bots. This release was pulled once already due to bot play listing.

Received the results the company promised.
Really good playlists in this campain
Working with GPM, we were setup with playlists and have way more listeners and streams in just a few days. Looking forward to seeing where we are by the end of the campaign!
Responsive and generated streams.
It's a week in and I am seeing 3,315 streams from me as a previously unknown artist.

It’s early going, but I see a significant increase in listens. I am pleased for now!

Transparency and Delivery. To be honest, I've spent €'s on other platforms and receive minimal or no results. With GPM, every € is worth. I look forward at doing more promo with you. Thank you.
This is the first and last time I will use this company! I normally use legit companies like YouGrow, Playlist Promotions or Daemoon because they offer refunds if a campaign doesn't meet expected streams after they have tried to do alternative placements and failed. The GPM cancellation policy sucks! They only refund if they cannot get a song on a playlist/playlists within 7 days. Once it is placed and the playlists underperform you are trapped with this mediocre company.
I paid $US398 for a Headliner promo on 1 April on the basis of pay for two and get a third promoted for free. Placements were done on 3 April and I noticed two songs shared the same playlists several times. I told Noah on 9 April of my concerns about the poor stream return. I provided screen dumps several times during the campaign showing the poor stream return and his stock answer was 'there's no way to fully guarantee how the song will perform' and 'if there is no change get back to me in 7-10 days'. Noah always said he would arrange adjustments but nothing ever changed. I told him on the 23rd April that keeping the songs on the same playlists would change nothing.
On the 1 May he offered playlist swaps asked me to give him a list of playlists I wanted the songs removed from to be placed on better playlists. I did this but the playlist swaps never happened and although the promo was extended the outcome remained much the same. The promos expected stream count was a minimum of 7000 to a maximum of 13000. The only song that got more than the minimum 7000 streams was the one that didn't have to be shared with another of the promoted songs but this was only 11453. On 1 May Hayden said both Noah and him thought my music really stood out and 'while we don't promote this publicly, we occasionally offer select artists the chance to work 1-on-1' and mentioned paying $800 to have a few of my songs on a playlist with other songs. I thought this was ridiculous when they couldn't even meet a minimum stream count on 2 of my 3 songs.
Of the three songs covered by this promo I only got 6999 streams for one that has 31297 streams(most from elsewhere, only 5104 for one that has 45406(most from
elsewhere) and 11453 for one that has 20052(this is the only song GPM remotely delivered on). A huge waste of money and time,

The great thing about the experience was how quick I saw results. I would’ve given 5 stars if there would’ve been more streams. I realize it’s only a week into the campaigns but going from the target numbers on the package I purchased I thought it would’ve got more exposure. I will say though that the exposure I am getting seems to be quality listeners that are saving my songs and following me.

Took out a second campaign, it’s a slow burn but the results are pretty great! Feels honest and grounded, and Noah clearly knows what he’s doing!
