Iberian Coppers S.A. Opiniões 

I would discourage anyone from buying any distillation products from Iberian Copper (which seems to have many different names- the website is copper-alembic.com and they also have a tag on their products that says “Al Ambiq”). I ordered two stills from this company. Both arrived heavily damaged from the company after a month-long wait in customs in April 2025. The company promised to take care of it, and over the following months as I began attempting to distill, I learned of several other problems with the stills that were due to shoddy and sloppy craftsmanship. The metal is thin and one of the welds was way off making the still hard to use because the steam column does not line up with the pot (tank). After five months (!!) of waiting for the company to respond to my initial complaint, they responded after I wrote a public comment on their social media, but very defensively and with an unpleasant tone. When I tried to discuss the functional problems with the still, they claimed it was not their shoddy and sloppy craftsmanship , and they weren’t responsible for the problems. They then insisted they would replace only the parts I initially complained about in April and stated “you have eight hours to decide” (this after they had not responded to my complaint for FIVE MONTHS… you have eight hours to decide after our delay of five months!). I continued to try to talk about the continued functional problem with the steam column, and went to bed. I woke up the next morning (6 a.m. my time was afternoon Portugal time) and they had …. Already sent me a package! I was confused because I had believed we were still in conversation about the issues. I guess my eight-hour window was up. The only problems was, when the package arrived several days later , it did not contain the part that was actually problematic to the function of the still. That part is a small , affordable, easy to replace part. Instead they sent me giant expensive things. What a waste! So now I have all these extra parts and no ability to actually operate their crappy still without sending them more money. I tried to send videos of the problem which they ignored. The workmanship of their products is low quality, the customer service is defensive and dishonest, something feels very sketchy about their whole operation. I’d avoid this company completely.

I have recently bought a small copper still from a colleague which came without user guide and missing a piece.
Wrote an email to the company - and within hours received help - not only on my direct questions but on everything I needed to know.
And the appliances are very beautiful
