Hi Richard,
We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the administration of your course and test dates.
As we do not have enough information from your review to identify your specific case, we are unfortunately unable to comment on the individual circumstances or verify the details of your course history.
We would, however, like to clarify the matter regarding the DKK 2,000 deposit. Danish language education is funded by the municipality, and the deposit is therefore not money that our school simply keeps. In accordance with the applicable rules, the deposit is returned to the municipality that pays for the Danish language education when the conditions for repayment are met.
We fully understand that cancellations or postponements caused by the school can be frustrating, and we are sorry if this was your experience. At the same time, please note that the deposit may be forfeited if a student does not pass the module test on the first attempt or takes a break from their studies. In such cases, the student may also not be able to continue immediately, as we cannot always guarantee that a suitable class will be available at the exact time the student wishes to resume their studies.
If you contact us directly with your name and relevant course details, we would be happy to look into your specific case and clarify what happened regarding your test dates and deposit.
Best regards, Speak - School of Danish
