The NICEIC revised their website and as…
The NICEIC revised their website and as a result published my personal information, address and phone number etc without any consent to do so. They further shared this information with third parties who have done the same and published my information. The NICEIC removed my information from their website and have claimed they were authorised to do so, but have failed to issue any supporting evidence for this claim. The third parties continued to share my information and the NICEIC state they are unable to help any further, despite the organisations owning shares in the NICEIC. The NICEIC have failed to respond to my queries within the legally required time under GDPR, stating the DPO team will contact me. They are now not answering any of my emails and are refusing to comment on their own data protection policy that they have breached. If anyone else is a member I strongly suggest you check what information they are sharing and raise it with the ICO as they NICEIC should have notified them of the breach, but they still continue to share other peoples information, presumably without consent.

Terribly run EV course
Terribly run EV course. Did not cover what was being tested in the assessment. Time would have been better spent doing self study. The remote invigilation is done by an external company called Talview, which enters a new level of chaos into the mix. I only started the examination an hour later than expected with all the issues I experienced. When I called in to ask for my results almost a week after the exam, as they were not sent out, I was told that there are a high number of complaints about the course and the external invigilation process. So they know about the issues but cannot be bothered to resolve them as a matter of urgency. Yet another example of the NICEIC taking payment for very little service and value.

Had 2 days on my course
Had 2 days on my course. Everyone was friendly and polite. The course was made easier by our instructor letting us ask questions and answering them. Lunch was a very nice touch and a good variety.
