Ali made me feel very welcome and allowed me as long as I wanted to help me to making my decision and made me a delicious coffee. It was a very pleasant experience all round.

The assistant was pleasant and cheerful and took pains to find out what was really needed. She also followed up as requested 2 days later to confirm the order.

We had excellent service from the staff at York. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I am very much looking forward to receiving my sofa & chair! Thank you.

I met Angela and kerr? From the Glasgow shop and then Amanda the manager, I was in the salerooms twice before making a decision, all staff were fantastic, no pressure !

Big store with plenty of sofas and chairs on display. Staff all knowledgeable and very attentive.
They will help uncover your ideal requirements and offer good suggestions without being too pushy. Whilst you can wander independently they are generally present and suggesting settees that fit your brief.
Order process was easy and clearly explained.
Delivery approx 6 - 8 weeks.

Slightly small carpark a couple of car parks nearby.

We received a very warm welcome when we visited HSL in Burnley recently. Jill, Tracy and Val were very friendly and knowledgeable. We were given plenty of time to look around and there was no rush to make any decisions.

All the staff were friendly and very easy to converse with. Hattie was helpful on the telephone and in store as were Marie and Emma. Coffee and biscuits were lovely too!

We had a great experience when we visited HSL recently the variety of chairs on show was amazing
Once we had decided on which chair we preferred a member of staff joined us and gave us invaluable advice on the size that would be suitable for our needs
There was no pressure sales talk just excellent advice needless to say we purchased the chair of our choice

They weren’t pushy but very clear and knowledgeable about their product. We found a discrepancy between the shop and the web and were very quick to put it right. It was nice to relax with a drink and biscuits too while enjoying the comfort of a chair we were trying out. We went away to think but returned after the weekend to buy.we now wait for the delivery.

We had particular needs and those needs were more than met by Chand. She was most knowledgeable, helpful and patient. She was not pushy and didn't rush us. We were there quite some time whilst deciding on our purchase. Chand was a charming, cheerful, thoughtful and lovely person. We are totally satisfied with our purchase. Thank you so much.

HSL. I cannot say anything more than don't use this company. I had ordered a two seater and single chair. As of today l have had 2 two heaters as they were faulty and 3 single chairs also because of faults. I was told by their own staff that since the son has taken over and started to expand the company and start a new production premises the amount of returns has increased. At last l know have a suite of furniture that is acceptable after 6 months. Low and behold HSL phoned us up again to arrange yet another delivery of the single chair which we had received two weeks earlier because they don't what they are doing.
I feel really sad to write this as in the past they have been great, and there service impeccable but I'm sorry to say they have lost direction and also customer recommendations

Looking forward to seeing our chair and 2 seater when they arrive. Rob in the Cardiff branch was brilliant. He was full of knowledge very friendly. Showed us every pattern and colour. So many to choose from. I would give Rob 5 stars.

Having visited your branch the previous week and tried most if not all of the Riser-Recliners onsite, I thought about it over the weekend and decided to go ahead with my purchase of the TWO I purchased. Why? Because I never felt PRESSURED and was dealt with by your team in a very professional manner. And because Life is TOO DAMN short, NOT to enjoy what little comforts we can afford. Congratulations on your team and your products.
