I am very disappointed with my experience.
I purchased a $10 Pay As You Go balance with my own money. Unfortunately, I later discovered that my phone (Samsung Galaxy S20 FE SM-G780G/DS) does not support eSIM. The balance has never been activated or used.
I asked for a refund or at least to transfer the unused balance to my wife's account, since she already uses eSIM.io. They refused both options. They suggested sharing a package, but Pay As You Go balance cannot be shared, so their proposed solution does not apply to my situation.
I understand that companies have policies, but keeping a customer's unused money without offering any practical solution is very disappointing. I expected much better customer service and flexibility.
I cannot recommend this service based on my experience.

Esim didnt work. They said it was my problem. Dont ever ever use them. Totally scam in my opinion.

Awful service avoid esim didn’t work on our recent trip to USA. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service no response.
Take your money for a device that doesn’t work!

I have used it couple of my trips in Europe. It was very easy to use. I just activated once then I even forget that I am using esim app for my internet connection.

Total scam! Promised a high speed internet up to 3GB..It was always around 5-2 even 0.78 Mbps.. And once you used your daily high speed allowence they say you enter a 24 hour waiting period.. then this means slow internet the next day..You pay for 5 days but only use 3 days of fast internet a total scam!

I arrived at Heathrow for my trip to Sri Lanka-met my friend who said "Go to Saily and buy an esim for Sri Lanka. I went on to the Saily web site (using my phone so a small screen but you have to use your phone!!!) and found what I wanted - went on to the payment screen but, unknown to me, I'm now buying from esim-io, who have managed to put a pay now button in front of Saily's. So now I have bought from eSim-io . Utterly appalling - I never managed to use any of the data bought for anything like a text or a phone call or even internet, what did happen was videos popped up all the time that were using the data bought , nothing to do with me - BUT - this esim also stopped my phone from accessing any free wifi, and also interfered with other functions on my phone. So after 2 days of misery I deleted this app off my phone, and everything started working again. So I am £9.50 out of pocket , and Saily wont get my business because they should be stopping this from happening. Utter scam

Their internet connection is very bad I paid 40$ for almost 20 days unlimited internet and I can’t even watch a video in youtube, they scammed me!

The eSIM, which had activation issues during my previous trip to Lisbon, didn't work at all this time in Copenhagen. The 2 GB plan I purchased remained stuck on the pending list. I messaged the officials via WhatsApp, but the issue was not resolved. I suffered a great deal of grievance, and I never want to travel with eSIM io again. I want a refund for the money I loaded. Should I be more upset about the internet I couldn't use, or the distress I experienced during my trip?"
