We also use AI-assisted tools — including large language models provided by Anthropic, a service provider based in the United States — to help read and draft responses to customer service emails. When you contact us, your email content and related order details may be processed by these tools to help our team prepare a reply. All AI-drafted replies are reviewed by a human team member before being sent. These providers are contractually required to handle your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles, including APP 8.

How we collect your personal information

Petz Park collects personal information to purposefully conduct our business and services as an e-commerce organisation. Any personal information we collect, is done so when you perform a transaction on our website, register, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us.

Petz Park does not store credit card numbers. These are securely held by a large third-party payment processor (Stripe). Personal information we do collect includes your name, address, email, phone number and billing address. All personal information that we collect will be done so in a lawful and unobtrusive manner.

When we collect information, attempts will be made to ensure each individual understands why such information is being collected, how it will be used and who such information will be given to.

Data retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. Where your information is processed by third-party service providers (including AI-assisted tools, payment processors, and marketing platforms), those providers may retain it for limited periods as part of their own security and fraud monitoring — typically up to 30 days — after which it is deleted. Using the Petz Park website
