[001] Trata-se a presente patente de invenção de um equipamento para manipular cilindros de alta pressão, com os mais diversos tipos de gases, produtos esses de alta periculosidade, com o objetivo principal de proteger a integridade física dos trabalhadores envolvidos na operação. [009] De acordo com a figura apresentada, o box de segurança para cilindros de alta pressão, é montado preferencialmente no interior de um contêiner (CO) de 20 pés, e compreende uma caixa de retenção (1), metálica, hermeticamente fechada, dotada no interior de uma base (2) para fixação do cilindro (C) através de fecho rápido (3), sendo em uma das paredes, dotado de orifício (4) através do qual é introduzida a extremidade de uma furadeira pneumática (5) operada de forma remota, e em outra parede dotada de dreno (6), com abertura controlada, interligado ao sistema de degradação do produto, sendo ainda posicionado em alguns pontos, câmeras (7) para acompanhar todos os passos da operação pré-descarte do cilindro (C), sendo todo o conjunto controlado pelo Controlador Lógico Programável - CLP e as operações realizadas de forma remota.
