Definitions
- the present invention relates to a clothing treatment device and a method for controlling the clothing treatment device.
- a clothing treatment device refers to a washing machine that washes clothing and other items through a washing cycle, and a dryer that dries items through a drying cycle.
- washing machines and dryers can be installed as separate devices, but in order to overcome space constraints and improve user convenience, there is a clothing treatment device that can perform washing and drying at the same time.
- the clothing treatment device is provided with a cabinet, a tub for storing water, a drum providing a space for accommodating the subject of treatment, a driving unit fixed to the tub and rotating the drum, a support unit for supporting the tub, a water supply unit for supplying water to the tub, and a drain unit for draining water from the tub.
- the clothing treatment device is equipped with a flow path for extracting air from inside the tub and resupplying it to the tub, and a heat exchanger provided in the flow path for sequentially executing dehumidification and heating of the air.
- the conventional clothing treatment device having the structure described above has a problem in that it is difficult to apply to a commercial clothing treatment device that must frequently and quickly treat a large number of objects to be treated. That is, in the case of a commercial clothing treatment device, a treatment space that can accommodate heavy and bulky clothing is required, and a heat exchanger for rapid washing and drying of the objects to be treated is required, so it was difficult to install both a washing device and a drying device in a cabinet with a limited volume. It is possible to install both a washing device and a drying device by designing the cabinet to have a large volume, but in this case, there was a problem in that it was difficult to manufacture or transport. Therefore, in the case of a commercial clothing treatment device, the combination or arrangement between the washing device and the drying device was one of the important design considerations.
- the present invention aims to solve the problem of providing a clothing treatment device and a control method of the clothing treatment device capable of shortening the water supply time through a plurality of water supply channels that guide water to a tub.
