  • the element 1 further comprises a plurality of U-shaped profiled through- notches 14 which are formed at a peripheral flap 5 and which are connected in pairs by portions of the folding line 14a which is defined between the peripheral flap 5 and the respective peripheral side 9.
  • the U-shaped profiled through-notches 14, as shown in detail in Figure 5, thereby define, when the peripheral flap 5 is in the folded configuration on the main panel 3, a plurality of peripheral projections 15, which are coplanar with respect to the main panel 3 and which are arranged at regular intervals along the peripheral side 9.
  • the element 1 comprises an additional plurality of U-shaped profiled through-notches 14' which are formed at the peripheral flap 7 opposite the peripheral flap 5 and which are connected in pairs by portions of the folding line 14'a which is defined between the peripheral flap 7 and the respective peripheral side 11.
  • the additional plurality of U-shaped profiled through-notches 14' as shown in detail in Figure 5, thereby defines in the folded configuration on the main panel 3 of the peripheral flap 7, an additional plurality of peripheral projections 15' which are also coplanar with respect to the main panel 3 and which are arranged at regular intervals along the peripheral side 11.

  • the element 1 comprises a pair of straps 16, 17 which can be secured to the external surface of the peripheral flaps 5 and 7 when they are arranged in the folded configuration on the main panel 3, in a state positioned between respective pairs of adjacent peripheral projections 15, 15'.
  • the peripheral projections 15, 15' are provided only on the pair of longer peripheral sides 9 and 11 of the main panel 3, but there may further be provision for them also to be able to be formed similarly on one or both shorter peripheral sides 8 and 10.
  • the protection provided by the present invention also extends to a kit 100 for transporting plates A, which is schematically shown in Figure 8 and which comprises at least two elements 1 for packing one or more plates A which overlap each other and at least one mutual securing unit 18-21 for these elements 1 which overlap each other of the type selected from a rope, tape, belt, strap, polymer sheet wrapped above these elements 1, and the like.
  • the method comprises the step SI of providing an element 1 according to what has been described above, for packing plates and the step S2 of folding the pieces 12 which are defined by the shaped through-incisions so as to obtain the travel limit stop abutments for the plate A. If necessary, there is provided a step S3, in which the height of the abutments is adjusted by folding the pieces 12 in a suitable manner about one of the adjusting folding lines 26.

  • the overlaying of a multiplicity of elements 1 which contain one or more respective plates A allows them to be mutually arranged so that the face of each plate A which is not completely covered by the respective element 1 faces an additional element 1 so as to overlap each other at the external face of the respective main panel 3, thereby ensuring optimum insulation of each plate A with respect to the external environment.
  • the element 1 according to the invention enormously facilitates the logistics of the one or more plates A.
  • the element 1 according to the invention allows the one or more plates also to be protected during the manual transport which is further particularly convenient and safe as a result of the presence of at least one handle 29 which is formed in a portion of the element 1 which is free from the one or more plates A and particularly remote from the sharp edges.
  • the element 1 according to the invention has an extremely low environmental impact because cardboard is a material which is not very polluting and can be produced from recycled raw material.
  • the element 1 according to the invention is further relatively simple to produce in practical terms and with contained costs: these characteristics make the element 1 according to the invention an innovation for safe use.
  • the element 1 according to the invention allows effective protection of the one or more plates A from possible peripheral impacts as a result of the peripheral projections 15 which attenuate the impact thereof.
  • the plates are mainly loaded in groups on stands which are specifically provided so that they take up a vertical or inclined configuration and the positioning and aligning operations of the plates on the stand are carried out mainly manually.

L'invention concerne un élément (1) pour emballer des plaques (A) comprend une feuille (2) ayant un panneau principal (3) ayant des dimensions supérieures ou égales à celles de la plaque (A) et qui est pourvu de rabats périphériques (4, 5, 6, 7) qui font saillie depuis au moins deux côtés périphériques (8, 9, 10, 11) du panneau principal (3). Chacun des rabats périphériques (4, 5, 6, 7) peut être plié sur le panneau principal (3), en intercalant la plaque (A). Le panneau principal (3) comprend des incisions traversantes à proximité d'au moins un des côtés périphériques (8, 9, 10, 11), définissant au moins une pièce (12) du panneau principal (3) qui peut être repliée sur elle-même pour définir une butée pour la plaque (A).
