Definitions
- the invention relates to highly concentrated detergent compositions with improved storage stability, in which no insoluble precipitate occurs even after storage for several weeks.
- Liquid textile detergents typically contain complexing agents to bind cations, particularly calcium and magnesium ions, in the wash liquor. By binding these cations, complexing agents help maintain or enhance the activity of detergent substances, especially anionic surfactants.
- Modern textile detergents usually contain phosphonates as complexing agents, such as 1-hydroxyethene-1,1-diphosphonic acid (HEDP) or diethylenetriaminepentakis(methylenephosphonic acid) (DTPMP).
- HEDP 1-hydroxyethene-1,1-diphosphonic acid
- DTPMP diethylenetriaminepentakis(methylenephosphonic acid)
- the object of the present invention is to improve the storage stability of liquid, highly concentrated detergents.
