Abstract

L'invention concerne un empilement de cellules électrochimiques, comprenant une pluralité d'unités de cellule électrochimique (12) qui sont empilées les unes sur les autres le long d'une direction d'empilement (14), chaque unité de cellule comprenant une couche de cellule ayant au moins une région de chimie de cellule électrochimiquement active, et une plaque d'interconnecteur (18), ladite couche de cellule et ladite plaque d'interconnecteur se recouvrant l'une l'autre et étant fixées l'une à l'autre pour renfermer un volume de fluide entre elles, des unités de cellule adjacentes coopérant l'une avec l'autre de telle sorte que le mouvement des unités de cellule l'une par rapport à l'autre dans une direction perpendiculaire à la direction d'empilement est limité ou bloqué. L'invention concerne également des unités de cellules électrochimiques et un procédé de fabrication d'un empilement de cellules électrochimiques.
