Description
HAIR DYEING APPARATUS
Technical Field
The invention relates to a reusable hair dyeing apparatus made of recyclable material, developed for use in hair dyeing processes.
State of the Art
Hair dyeing is a common hair care, hairstyle and cosmetic practice. This is a method of changing hair color. A process called hair bleaching is used to dye dark hair in lighter colors. Since cutting off the hair from contact with air and keeping the heat inside during hair bleaching affects the rate of the lightening of the hair, the strands of hair to be bleached are wrapped with aluminum foil after the bleaching agent is applied.
Aluminum foil, which is frequently used in hair dyeing processes, is a single-use material and causes approximately 196 million tons of waste per year worldwide. The fact that aluminum foil is a single-use material causes extra workload before each dyeing. Supplied in large rolls, the foils are individually cut to fit the customer's hair length. This process extends the duration of the total dyeing process. On the other hand, aluminum foil slides on the hair, causing the used chemicals to contaminate some unwanted areas and causingthe application to be disrupted and damaged.
Many studies have been carried out and new structures have been developed today in order to make the hair dyeing process easier and more homogeneous. One of these studies is the invention that is the subject of the utility model application numbered TR 2021/015224 and titled “Personal Hair and Scalp Coloring Machine with Three Interchangeable Heads”. The invention relates to a hair and hair root dyeing machine with three interchangeable heads, a rechargeable feature, and designed for personal use. A different feature of the invention is the addition of a comb head with a small brush for the shaded hair coloring process.
Another study is the invention that is the subject of the utility model application numbered TR 2020/15838 and titled “Rechargeable, Double-Headed, Personal Hair and Hair Root Dyeing Machine”. The invention relates to a hair and hair root dyeing machine with replaceable double heads, rechargeable feature and designed for personal use.
Another study is the invention that is the subject of the utility model application numbered TR 2019/22668 and titled "Hair Dyeing Apparatus". The invention relates to a hair dyeing apparatus that is used for hair dyeing purposes in the field of personal care and allows the user to dye their hair on their own without the help of a second person.
Another study is the invention subject to patent application numbered EP2839757B1 and titled “Device and Method for Selectively Bleaching or Dyeing a Plurality of Locks of Hair”. The invention relates to a device for bleaching /shading hair, that is, for selectively bleaching or dyeing several strands of hair by applying at least one liquid or paste-like product. The device comprises: a selection comb for selecting the strands to be bleached or dyed from a section of hair, and a container comprising at least one compartment suitable for containing the liquid or paste-like product or products to be distributed onto the selected strands of hair. In other aspects of the invention, a method for dyeing, bleaching or highlighting hair using the aforementioned device is also disclosed, as well as a supplement for refilling the device with liquid and paste product.
Another study is the invention that is the subject of the patent application numbered US20020329815 and titled “Foil used in hair dyeing and method of use”. The invention provides that a foil for use in hair dyeing is made from a substantially rectangular sheet of material. The top edge of the foil is colored and forms a zig-zag pattern. The top surface of the foil includes a hair holder consisting of a long rectangular loop strip of material that adheres to the hair near the top edge of the foil. The bottom side of the foil contains a similar long rectangular strip of loop material that provides a bonding anchor that adheres to the subject's scalp without the stylist having to hold the foil throughout the entire dyeing process. Once the foil is attached to a section of the person's hair, the hair strands are woven under the foil over the top edge and held in place with the hair clip. Then, the coloring is applied, and the foil is folded in half, so that the hair stays inside the folded foil.
As a result, The need for a hair dyeing apparatus that eliminates the disadvantages of the existing technique and the inadequacy of existing solutions have made it necessary to make a development in the relevant technical field.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the subject of the invention, a reusable hair dyeing apparatus (10) made of recyclable material developed for use in hair dyeing processes, is explained only as an example for a better understanding of the subject and in a way that does not create any limiting effect.
The hair dyeing apparatus (10) shown in Figure 1 was developed to be used in hair color changing processes. The said dyeing apparatus (10) comprises a recyclable and washable and reusable body (11) made of polymer for dyeing the hair after the hair is placed in it; a hook-and-loop fastener (12) positioned at the edge of the body (11 ) which ensures that the dyeing apparatus (10) remains fixed on the person's head throughout the dyeing process; and a washing chamber (13) for easy cleaning of the body (11) after the dyeing process. The mentioned body (11 ) shortens the total duration of the dyeing process as it does not require any preliminary preparation, unlike the aluminum foil used in the state of the art. The mentioned hook-and-loop fastener (12) is placed at the hair roots and clings here. In this way, once the body (11 ) is placed, it does not move, and the
dye is prevented from smearing. Additionally, the hook-and-loop fastener (12) fixedly connected on the body (11) eliminates the need for hair clips, pins and similar supporting materials for attaching the dyeing apparatus (10) to the hair.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, instead of hook-and-loop fastener (12) on the body (11 ), fixing elements such as combs or similar items are used to prevent the dyeing apparatus (10) from slipping after it has been applied to the hair.
