La charnière à liaisons multiples comprend : une plaque de protection qui est accouplée rotative à un élément parmi le levier inférieur ou le levier supérieur par l'intermédiaire d'un premier arbre et qui recouvre au moins en partie l'espace entre la pluralité de liaisons qui adoptent des positions les unes par rapport aux autres selon que la charnière à liaisons multiples est ouverte ou fermée ; et un élément de liaison qui comporte une première partie d'extrémité accouplée rotative à la plaque de protection par l'intermédiaire d'un deuxième arbre et une seconde partie d'extrémité accouplée rotative à une liaison parmi la pluralité de liaisons par l'intermédiaire d'un troisième arbre et qui relie la plaque de protection et ladite liaison parmi la pluralité de liaisons.
