If, as shown in Figure 14B, a user wishes to send notifications such as advertisements or coupons to users who are interested in all of dogs, patchwork, and furniture, the user who is sending the notification can narrow down the users using the "and" condition.
- the user may reuse that condition and send a notification to or including new users who have specified areas 113g, 113h, and 113i.
- the user who sends the notification may predefine multiple areas and the conditions for combining those areas, and the notification may be sent when the user's range specification matches those areas and conditions.
- the user who sends the notification can narrow down the users using an OR condition.
- the users may be narrowed down using combined conditions such as AND, OR, NOT, NAND, and NOR, or a combination of these.
- the order in which the areas are selected may also be incorporated into the conditions.
- the owners of the above image information 112g, 112h, and 112i may be the same user or different users.
- image information 112g, 112h, and 112i are different image information, different areas may be specified for the same image information, and users may be narrowed down based on the combination of these different areas.
- the associated information 116 is transferred, allowing the new owner to inherit users who are interested in the product or service, and providing useful information for the new owner when selling the product or service, etc.
- the range specification receiving means 101 may not only accept range specifications for captured image information, but may also accept range specifications via a touch panel for a preview image being captured by the user who is taking the picture.
- the range specification may be accepted before the image is generated by capturing the image.
- the image may be captured at the same time as the range specification.
- the image may be generated by capturing the image and the range specification may be performed simultaneously.
- the range specification may not only be performed via a touch panel for the preview image, but may also be performed by making a gesture with the photographer's hand between the actual object being captured and the camera, and the gesture may be recognized using image processing.
- the range specification may be accepted via a touch panel from a user for a video being captured and distributed by another user, for example, a video being live-streamed.
- the accepted range specification may be used to give arbitrary instructions from the user to the other user, such as instructions on which direction to go or an instruction to purchase.
- videos being live-streamed may be captured using a smartphone or other device owned by the other user, or may be captured using a camera or other filming equipment.
- the range specification receiving means 101 may be capable of receiving a range boundary specification by free-drawing, or the center and radius of a circular or elliptical range by a dragging action, or the start point and end point or center and maximum (minimum) outer shape of a polygon by a dragging action. Furthermore, it may also be capable of receiving a specification by an operation other than a dragging action, such as multiple taps or pinch-outs.
- the notification means 103 may be configured not to notify the user who uploaded the image information 112 or the user who is the owner of the photographed subject of the notification information 114 (storing it as information) or not to notify immediately (the information processing device 1 may temporarily store the notification information 114 and notify it periodically).
- the notification information 114 received by the notification receiving means 102 according to predetermined rules may be stored for a predetermined period of time, and the contents may be compiled before statistical information is notified to the user.
- the notification information 114 may be accessed by the user. Specific examples include the following.
- range specification receiving means 101 may receive range specifications for the selection options of the questionnaire from said image information 112 to produce range specification information 113, and notification receiving means 102 may tally the selection options of the questionnaire from range specification information 113, which is responses from one or more users, and produce the tally as notification information 114.
- the tally may be anonymous, or may be associated with the user's ID, etc.
- the range specification receiving means 101 may receive a range specification for the grid in the image information 112 and set it as range specification information 113, and the notification receiving means 102 may receive reservations for each studio or conference room from one or more users based on the range specification information 113, and set the contents of the received reservation as notification information 114.
- the range designation receiving means 101 may receive a range designation for the seat or free area designation in the image information 112 and set it as range designation information 113, and the notification receiving means 102 may receive reservations for seats or free areas from one or more users based on the range designation information 113, and set the content of the received reservation as notification information 114.
- seats may be selected arbitrarily from within the designated area, such as "two seats in the designated area.”
- area designation may be not only two-dimensional but also three or more-dimensional.
- the notification means 103 may be configured to send the notification information 114 as an operation instruction to a device such as a drone, actuator, or robot, rather than to the user who uploaded the image information 112 or the user who is the owner of the subject being photographed. It may also be configured to send the notification information 114 as a program execution instruction to a PC or server. Specific examples include the following.
- the range designation receiving means 101 receives a range designation for the remote control buttons, light switch, printer buttons, PC keyboard, etc. in the image information 112 and sets this as range designation information 113
- the notification receiving means 102 receives operations such as pressing, rotating, pulling in, etc. of the switch, button, etc. specified from the range designation information 113 (these operations may be specified separately or may be predetermined operations), and transmits the received operation details as notification information 114 as an operation instruction to a device such as a drone, actuator, or robot.
- the operation instruction is not limited to operating a switch, etc., and may also include movement to a position specified in the image information.
- the range specification receiving means 101 receives a range specification for the remote control buttons, electric switches, printer buttons, PC keyboard, etc. in the image information 112 and sets this as range specification information 113
- the notification receiving means 102 receives the transmission of wireless signals such as infrared rays or electromagnetic waves output as a result of operating the switches, buttons, etc. specified from the range specification information 113, and may send the received operation details as notification information 114 as operation instructions to a wireless communication simulator such as an infrared emulator or wireless signal emulator (the emulator is assumed to have been trained in advance to associate images with transmitted signals).
- a wireless communication simulator such as an infrared emulator or wireless signal emulator
- the range specification receiving means 101 may receive a range specification for the operation execution button, etc. in the image information 112 and set it as range specification information 113, and the notification receiving means 102 may receive an operation to press the operation execution button, etc. specified from the range specification information 113, and send the received operation content as notification information 114 as an operation instruction to the corresponding PC or smartphone or a server, etc. that manages the website corresponding to the screen (registered as user information for the image information 112). Furthermore, even if the website to be specified is not registered as user information, it may be identified by performing an image search.
- GUI Graphic User Interface
- Figure 15 is a schematic diagram illustrating the association operation when a map is used as the image information 112.
- a map may be used as the image information 112j, and when a certain point is designated, circular areas 113j1 and 113j2 with a radius of, for example, 500 m may be designated from the designated point 113J1 or 113J2 .
- the designated points 113J1 and 113J2 may be the GPS location of the smartphone used by the user (which may be stationary or moving), a location designated by a user's operation, or a location within a time range designated by a user's operation.
- various controls such as displaying advertisements or prioritizing the display of user profiles may be performed based on the relevance obtained by combining the relevance between users in the image information 112 and the relevance between users in specifying locations on a map.
- the divided areas are displayed so that they can be seen by the user.
- the display control means 104 may display only the selected point, and the range specification receiving means 101 may count the area (pre-divided but not displayed) that includes the selected point.
- the selected point may not be displayed either, and the range specification receiving means 101 may count the area (pre-divided but not displayed) that includes the selected point.
- Figures 16A to 16C are diagrams explaining how to count and display associated information when an area is clipped and quoted.
- a user selects area 113k from image information 112k, and then, as shown in Figure 16B, displays image information 112l corresponding to the selected area 113k as a quoted image on a page managed by the user, resulting in 10 "LIKES" from other users.
- the number of "LIKES” may be displayed in the corresponding area 113ki in the original image information 112k. Note that if area 113k is cited by multiple users, the total number of "LIKES" received by the multiple users from other users may be displayed.
- each of the means 100-107 of the control unit 10 are implemented by a program, but all or part of each means may also be implemented by hardware such as an ASIC.
- the program used in the above embodiment may also be stored on a recording medium such as a CD-ROM and provided. Furthermore, the steps described in the above embodiment may be rearranged, deleted, or added without changing the gist of the present invention.
