Abstract

A rotary device, apparatus and methods of use is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a chamber (15) configured to receive a first material (e.g. organic matter) and a rotary device (50) located in the chamber and configured to contact the first material. A drive mechanism (32) rotates the rotary device. The apparatus comprises a flow path for delivering a second material (e.g. ozone) to the first material, wherein at least part of the flow path passes through the rotary device. The apparatus is suitable for a wide range of industrial processes, particularly those which involve the mixing of two or more materials.
