Definitions
- the present invention relates to a dispensing system for containers of the bottle and/or jar type, which in turn is a concentrated formula dispensing system comprised of an interchangeable airtight cartridge, which is anchored to the bottle and/or jar neck adapter by means of a precision threading system existing in the cartridge which is screwed to the bottle neck adapter at its outer upper part, cartridge in which the concentrated formula is found, this bottle and/or jar neck adapter having different types of specially designed means inside it to be able to cut, push and remove the seal of the cartridge without it falling into the interior of the container, thus evacuating the concentrated formula from the removable cartridge into the liquid or content of the bottle and/or jar at the time when mixing is required.
- the invention is also related to the manufacturing method of the closing device.
- This dispensing system is equipped with an interchangeable cartridge or tube, of different possible sizes and can be produced in different materials, designed to be hermetically sealed as it has an aluminum seal and/or other materials in its open part to contain all types of concentrated formulas inside, which is mechanically anchored or screwed onto an adaptable bottle and/or jar neck adapter in its external upper part that has an internal push-cut system to cut and push the seal of said cartridge or tube and thus allow the concentrated formula to be dispensed into a bottle and/or jar containing liquid inside, thus facilitating the mixing of the concentrated formula with the contents of the bottle and/or jar at the moment it is required.
- This type of dispensing system is beginning to be used in the food and beverage field, for the incorporation of elements such as vitamins or minerals, nutraceuticals, probiotics, etc.
- a process called fortification in which its components require being stored separately. and hermetically sealed, in order to protect the active ingredients of the concentrated formula hermetically inside the tube, protecting it from moisture, oxygen and light, thus increasing its shelf life and maintaining its active ingredients for a long period of time, improving the effectiveness of the final product already mixed.
- these dispensing systems that allow the addition of substances are used in the medical and/or pharmacological field, allowing the mixing of active formulas, such as probiotics, antibiotics, extemporaneously, kept hermetically sealed within the cartridge or interchangeable tube, thus avoiding the rapid degradation of the final compound.
- the aim is to release an active formula, hermetically contained and protected, a few moments before combining it with the solvent and using and/or consuming the contents of the product, allowing the already mixed product to be mixed and subsequently released, maintaining all the physicochemical characteristics of the active compound until its moment of consumption.
- cartridges can be changed makes quality control easier when mixing extemporaneous products (generally this type of active ingredients are highly reactive and degradable), which means that if any batch of the active ingredient has any problem, the cartridges can be quickly removed from the device without having to destroy the device to access them.
- the bottle and/or jar of a product can be used simultaneously for different cleaning products, maintaining and using the same bottle and/or jar, thus helping to eliminate millions of plastic bottles that are used for different products and millions of trips and CO2 emissions in the transportation of products in bottles with water already previously mixed.
- the cartridge containing the concentrated formula inside has a controlled mechanical attachment system by screwing it to the bottle and/or jar neck adapter makes it easier for the person to NEVER manipulate the internal contents of the concentrated formula, nor come into contact with it, thus avoiding exposure of the skin to substances that could sometimes be dangerous, such as, for example, chlorine, since the contents of the cartridge are released while being protected by the walls of the bottle and/or jar neck adapter so that the active component could never touch the skin or fingers of the person handling it.
- WO 2018/138186 Al BNOVA, published on August 2, 2018, describes a cartridge for cooperating with the neck of a container and allowing a product contained in the cartridge to flow into said container, said cartridge including at least one reservoir; movable sealing means for closing the opening of the reservoir, and a socket, wherein the movable sealing means comprise at least one ring configured to cooperate with the neck of the container, so as to allow the movable sealing means to slide along the bottom wall of the reservoir by a pressure exerted on said ring by the neck of the container causing the opening of one or more flaps and further wherein at least one ring of the movable sealing means comprises clamping tabs configured to cooperate with an internal relief of the socket, to hold the movable sealing means in position within the socket, closing the opening of the reservoir.
- WO 2022/008431 Al BNOVA SA, published on January 13, 2022, discloses a blow-molded container comprising a reservoir, the reservoir having a bottom wall comprising an opening; a central element disposed in the opening of the reservoir; a socket arranged to surround the central element; wherein both the socket and the central element They have a lower end and an upper end, and are connected by their respective upper ends by a disk with a central opening, where the assembly comprising the socket, the central element and the disk forms a ring arranged in a single piece; in which at least a part of the lower wall of the reservoir is arranged to face the disk and in which the reservoir is irreversibly fixed to the ring.
